It was said that when Buddha was a young man, he was walking in the woods, looking for inspiration and guidance when a small man came to him wiht a powerful secret. This man knew of Buddha and told him of a way of entering another spiritual level.
buddha was very interested and listened intently to the man, who began whispering one word in Buddha's ear....
Buddha smiled whe he heard the word. Then the man whispered it again and agian making Buddha shiver. Then the man asked Buddha, "Are you ticklish Master Buddha?" Buddha thought for a while and repliend, "I don't know!!"
The man smiled and took out a duck feather and stroked Buddha's belly . Buddha jumped at the touch of the feather.. a new sensation for him then as the feather was worked over his belly, it began to tickle even more and he began giggling..
Then the man took off Buddha's sandles and began stroking the bottms of his feet with his nails. Budha's kaughter begam wild. He had never known how ticklsih his feet were andhe soon begam over come wiht laughter as the amn tickled up and down his tender soles, under his toes and between them. Soon Buddha passed out from his foot tickling. While he was passed out, he felt himself raise and start walking. He ws walking towards the man who was tickling him. The man invited him to sit down. Buddha did and then he waited. Soon the man sat down next to him and explained the Way of Tickling to be taught to his followers. As the man spoke, Buddha coud feel his body changing, not physically, but becoming more ticklish, especially his feet.
After the vison was finished, the man disappeared and Buddha woke up. Then man was still there, but had stopped tickling him. Buddha was allowed one question, so he asked the man, "Are you ticklish?" The man smiled and said yes he was, but that Buddha first ahd to go and teach tickling to his followers before he could tickle him.
The man saw the effect he was having on Buddha and began tickling him all over til Buddha became overcome with hysterical, ticklish laughter. Then man went to Buddha's soft feet and began tickling them with his fingertips . Buddha's laughter became high pitched and even more frenzied.
