Well my strengths are in Marian (Virgin Mary) areas, but I know some stuff of Catholic stuff,
I am also a studier of what is called Cryptozoology, Loch Ness Monster, big foot, as well as animals that were supposed to have died out millions of years ago, but that are stilll alive, such as the celaceph (this is mispelled sorry for that, layman's terms its an ancient fish thought dead, but was found in the early to mid twenty century).
If anyone has a question feel free to ask me.

Why was Saint Christopher taken out of the Cathotic church? :)

Good question, there are many who still honor him, but one of the main reasons I have been told is because we have no real proof he had actually existed at all. Many churches still honor him... but the clergy have decided to take him off the calanders because of lack of evidence for him.

You are welcome ^^. To be honest he never was truly taken out as many people including myself pray through (praying to something means that person or thing helps you of themselves, saints can do nothing through themselves and only through God's power, so we pray through the saints) him and know on more than one occasion he's been with me on the rode.

Nessie's most likely a hoax, but the evidence that sasquatches exist is actually pretty persuasive.

That is a hard question... the Loch Ness one, because while I enjoy it... studies have shown that there just is not enough of a food source for such an animal to live in the loch, let alone a good number of them to keep the story up for over fourteen hundred years. It could be possible that there was an animal there, that either died out or moved on... and it is also possible that the loch is just a breeding ground. The fact that people see the monster at certain times of the year the most (I believe its either during spring or autumn) might justify this theory. The animals go into the loch through the oceans via some underwater caves, breed, and then leave. Possible but not proven yet.
Most of the pics we have of it, such as the old black and white one with nessie with her neck and her hump is a fake yes.. that was admitted by one of them men who helped to take it.
The Miracle of Lourdes, yes I absolutey believe that did in fact happen.

Who was Mary Magdalene?
if you want a serious answer, she was a prostitute who was going to be stoned, and Jesus stepped forth and said to the assembled crowd, "Ye without sin can cast the first stone" i think lol...and she became a follower of His...
If i'm wrong, which i generally am, i gladly accept correction...

Ok, the first question, would you prefer I did or didn't start asking Navel questions? (Cause my friend you know I have some) Be honest now.
Now for a serious question and one I think is not taking us at all off topic...
Once we realized the mistakes in translation (almah vs. bethulah) in your view is there still sufficient biblical evidence to believe that Mary was a virgin (or outside evidence) and if so where?

Who was Mary Magdalene?
Okay I will try my best to answer this one.
Mary Magdalene was from what we know now, probably not the prostitute that was going to be stoned... in fact I do not believe that prostitute was ever named. The confusion came from right after the prostitute was saved to a woman coming in and washing and drying Jesus' feet. I haven't read much in the Bible lately but I believe she was named Mary who did this do not quote me on this however.
I believe the whole incident of the two women getting mixed up was because of a discussion or theory St. Augustine had on this issue.
What we DO know of Mary Magdalean was that she was a follower of Jesus, that she was the sister of Martha, and Lazarus (I do believe one proof that she was not the prostitute was so many people tolerated her by her brother's tomb, which if she had been a prostitute I don't believe they would have let her anywhere near, someone with a more knowledgeable area here can explain or add to this if they like).
There was a theory that she and Jesus were married, but to be honest we only have TWO count them TWO documents that all they ever did was kiss. No where in Gnostic, breakaway groups (save for one very small group who died out around the third, fourth century) believed the two were married. These two documents are the Gospel of Mary Magdalean and Gospel of Thomas. From what I have read of Thomas, it is very Gnostic, and anti feminist too. .. claiming at the end that when women die, God allows them to become men, for God would not allow women into Heaven.
Hope that helps, I can expand further on that if you like.

I grew up hearing that she was the postitue but a lot of experts arre saying that is just a legend. I thought the Mary, sister of Martha, was a whole different lady.
I would like you to go on, if you don't mind

LOL it is always fun to have discussions with you man... I can try to answer what I can.. and always try to look up what I can not.
Well I believe that there is some... perhaps not in the Bible if one takes out her shock that she's never been touched by man, I'd have to study more to find that out. We do have traditional writings not in the bible that came out during the same time the New Testament was being composed that clearly stated that she was a virgin, in fact according to one... we had her giving birth by him simply appearing in her arms in a flash of light. Now that could very well be fantasy, though the document says that when the woman who came to try and help examined mary she was still intact down there. She had not be broken.
People would say... well okay but if she was a virgin, then why did she go out and bath eight days (or was it seven?) after Jesus' birth? Didn't Jewish women do this because the birth and blood seemed unclean? Yes from what I have been told that is true. She why did she go and bath? I honestly do not know. It could be that she was being faithful to the law, despite her honest innocence. One venerable person was supposedly talked to the Virgin, who told her that she honestly did not know she could not sin, and was terrified of it, thus she obeyed the law.
For this issue I really do not know if she was truly a virgin or not, but I believe she was... it makes sense to me.

No I do not mind at all, what other things would you like to know of her?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippolytus_%28writer%29 okay here is who called Mary Magdalean and Mary Bethany one and the same. Not St. Augustine like I thought.

I will read that when I have later.
Why do you think she got labeled a prostittue? I guess they were trying to hurt her reputation but as a teenager, that only made her more popular with us.
What do you think is here biggest contribution to religion?

It is very possible that they wanted a scapegoat or villainous someone who turned into a good person... but they didn't do that to the Virgin or to Martha either. In fact many of the women of the New Testament were not seen in a negative light. So could it have been because she was a high ranking disciple? It is possible to assume that. I honestly do not know what was going through his mind when he came across, other than he saw something we now know know to be false and came to a false conclusion about her.
Her biggest contribution in my opinion was that women could also lead, that they were not lesser than men, and I have no doubt that she did preach and teach. However I don't see her in the gospels where Jesus breathes on the disciples and appoints them the leaders of the leaders aka apostles, after His ressurection.
There IS a possibilty that it MIGHT have happened. One of the gospels lists eleven disciples in the room but we know that Judas was dead by this time, and Thomas was not there yet.... leading to speculation that the eleventh was Mary Magdalean... but again I doubt it its is all speculation.
