Mom just called me from the hospital. He was took in yesterday. I wasn't able to get on here then. Didn't get home till after midnight. We got problems. Nothing he eats is going where it should. They are going to put him back on the feeding tube, I guess.
I'm not at all happy about this. He made it clear that he didn't want to live like that before when he had it. That's why we took it out. I'm just not sure how much longer we're going to have him. He's not bouncing back as he normally does.
All of your prayers are appreciated at this time. Thank you.

I will pray for your father, god knows I know this is tough. I have been through the ringer with my folks, 1st with my mom passing and my dads illness. It is hard to get past our parents mortality. I pray your dad pulls through.

Dad came through the surgery okay this morning. However, now we found out that he has MRSA. What a circus!
Thanks to all for your continued prayers.

MRSA is a specific type of staph infection that is very hard to get rid of once you get it. We didn't know he had it until yesterday. Thanks for your continued prayers.

I`m glad to hear that the surgery went okay, but I`m certainly sorry to hear about the MRSA! I know how bad that stuff is.I`ve been fighting a staph infection of my own.I`m much better now,but I missed three and a half weeks of work, and I`m still getting daily treatments. That is truly some evil stuff! I`m relatively young and in good shape and it put me down.I can`t imagine how some of these other people deal with it!
Rest assured, your family is in my prayers,Crydun!
Hang in there, things have got to take a turn for the better!
kwil and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers, sweetie. PM me anytime. :grouphug:
