I remember watching that cartoon as a child and that there were tickling scenes. Wasnt that scene in the stocks and with the wheel of feathers where an evil king had him taken to the "tickling room to be tickled to death"? What other episodes had tickling? Did his girlfriend "Kokette" ever get tickled? I think that cartoon sparked my first interest in tickling!

--Next, Koko enters an old western movie, a cowgirl dangles from a cliff,
holding onto a branch. A mustache twirling villain pours itching powder
down her back. She squirms and giggles. Koko rigs a giant bow from an
old tree to shoot himself up and rescue her saying, "This looks like a
ticklish situation."
--In another episode, Koko and his friends land on a planet where they
must make the king laugh. They are threatened with a visit to "the
tickling room where you will be tickled to death," if they should fail.
--Finally, Koko and his friends are swallowed by a whale and try to escape
by tickling the whale's ribs, which doesn't succeed since the whale isn't

I sure remember the scene with the dog driven conveyer that was rotating those feathers.
Speaking of old cartoons. There was one with a hilbilly type guy and a great big indian.At some point the hilbilly tells the indian " I know your weak spot!! It is tickling!!!"So the tall indian is tickled mercyless by the hilbilly.
I saw it in french so my translation is not exact maybe but the meaning is.

Hey Rajee, if the dvd you bought contains the Max Fleischer cartoons, then you may be disappointed. The tickling scenes in question come from the updated made for TV 60's version. Larry Storch (F-Troop) was the voice of Koko. I have yet to find this version on DVD.
