It doesn't look like a particularly comfortable position for having an orgasm! :D But at the same time, the arching is evocative of that intense pleasure, and so enhanced the impact of the image. So what I was saying was, the departure from literalness made a more powerful piece of art. :)

Makes me think I should dye my hair and start working out... :p
