could you explain further because it didn't work for me
Here's my detailled method, working with Internet Explorer browser on Windows 2000 system :
1) Run Internet Explorer and delete temporary files like this :
Tools >> Internet Options >> Delete Files (button between "Delete Cookies" and "Parameters")
2) Open the web page with the streaming video and let it play to the end
3) Open Windows Explorer and go to the folder below :
Code:
C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\
and sort files by size (bigger files up).
Then, the first file of the list should be the video (saved here for faster access).
If you don't find any file larger than 300 KB in this folder, you can retry loading the streaming video or change folder location on your hard drive, by trying another folder in "Documents and Settings" than "User" (for exemple "Default User" or "All Users").
4) Copy this file and paste it in your own clips folder (where you wish to place it) and add the .FLV extension to the file (if it doesn't appear yet).
5) In order to watch the Flash video, you have to install a Flash video player (like FLV Player). Else, you can convert the video in a standard format (like AVI or MPEG) to watch it with your usual video player.
6) In order to convert the Flash video, you have to install a special software (personaly, i use "SUPER", which is free and working very well).
You can download "SUPER" here :
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/super.cfm
7) When you have installed SUPER, just drag & drop the Flash video on SUPER interface, select your parameters (output folder, container, video codecs, audio codecs, dimensions...) and click "Encode" to start the conversion.
