The Good Guys embarked on their California road trip, and things did not go well. The team went three and six, dropping two of three games at each stop of a San Francisco, San Diego, and Los Angeles road trip. They returned home, on a Sunday night at midnight, to begin a nine game homestand.

The poor road trip to California caused Mitch, and the team, to return to Paradise in a sour mood. They had experienced poor road trips in the past. However, something about the current trip, left a sour, bitter, taste in the ballclub's mouth. They wanted to get home, and beat some people as quickly as possible, to regain some momentum.

When Mitch arrived home, he and Naomi had sex, but Mitch was tense, and had a very poor, and unsatisfying orgasm. His emotions were wound up tight as a clock. The couple conversed while Mitch was in California, and had seemed to put aside some of the issues that were plaguing them. Now, the team needed to do the same thing, to have a positive homestand.

On Monday night, the Good Guys opened their nine game homestand, with a game against the Nationals. Kate Hudson was on the mound. Hudson pitched a fine game, allowing only two runs in seven innings, one by error. The Good Guys trailed, 2-1 in the eighth, before rallying to tie the score. In the top of the ninth, Hilary Duff served up a homer, to send the Good Guys to defeat, 3-2, and cause a poor beginning to the homestand. Things didn't get any better the following night. Gil Bellows allowed but two runs in six plus innings. The Good Guys led, 4-2, and then blew the lead, allowing the Nationals to score six runs in the top of the eighth. Many of the crowd left, as things got worse, when Washington scored another run in the ninth. In the home half of the ninth, the Paradise Islanders put together a furious rally, scoring five times, to tie the score. The game moved to the 12th, and the Nationals scored three runs again, on another homer, to take the lead. Left Fielder Dawson hit a two run blast in the bottom half to bring Paradise within a run again. Then, after another double, Mitch struck out, to end the game, for the Good Guys second excruciating loss in two nights. The clubhouse was deathly quiet, and the team was in need of a lift. They got the lift on Wednesday night, as Charlize Theron fired eight strong innings, with nine strikeouts, and only one run allowed. The Good Guys got only two runs, but this time, the bullpen saved the day, as Hillary Duff dominated the Nats in the ninth, to come away with a 2-1 victory.

Thursday was an off day. That day, in counesling, the couple discussed their situation. "We are getting along okay. We had a rough patch, but hopefully that is past us. Our biggest problem this week was two horrid losses to Washington. Neither of us could sleep after those games. We beat them last night, so hopefully things will get back on track" Naomi said.

Philadelphia came to town on Friday night. Neve Campbell was the starter. Neve pitched a decent game, allowing three runs in eight innings. Paradise trailed, 3-2 in the eighth, before rallying for three runs. The bullpen was again solid in the ninth, as the Good Guys claimed a 5-3 win. Rachel Leigh Cook kept the Good Guys in the game on Saturday night. She gave up three runs in six innings, a quality start, but Paradise could get her no runs, and fell, 3-0. Kate Hudson opposed Phils ace Cole Hamels, on a sunny, dry, 84 degree Paradise Sunday, in front of a sellout. Both pitchers were masterful, as Hamels dominated the Good Guys, allowing one run, in eight innings, with twelve strikeouts, and Kate overwhelmed the Phillies, striking out fourteen in eight frames, while surrendering one run. The game went to the bottom of the ninth tied, when the Good Guys got a base hit with men on base, to come away with a 2-1 victory.

The Reds entered Paradise on Monday, for the final series of the homestand. Gil Bellows pitched on Monday. He shut out the Reds, as the Good Guys got only two runs, for a 2-0 triumph. Charlize Theron took the ball on Tuesday. She got hit around, allowing four runs, but the Good Guys rallied from a 4-2 deficit, to score three in the eighth, for a 5-4 win. Neve Campbell took the mound, on a clear, dry, 82 degree Paradise Wednesday, in front of a getaway day sellout. Neve pitched very well, allowing only one run in six innings, with nine strikeouts. The Good Guys trailed, 2-1 in the eighth, after the bullpen had allowed an unearned run. The game went to the bottom of the ninth, with Paradise trailing 2-1, when the Good Guys came up with two runs, on three straight hits, to win the game, 3-2, and complete a magnificent six and three homestand, winning six of the final seven games, after the two bad losses to open the homestand. Now, as the team packed to head to Washington, things were looking up.

In the meantime, the team held its Saturday tickle party, following the loss to the Phillies. The featured lee would be Hilary Duff, who was responsible for the two losses to open the homestand. Miss Duff was tied hands and feet to the bed, in the middle of the fetish club, in a black bra and panties. Center Fielder Burns began the tickle on Hillary's neck with fingers, as her head shifted, and the giggles began:HEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Working down, pitcher Gil Bellows was next, attacking Hillary on her underarms, sides, ribs, and belly with fingers, as she cackled and squealed:HEHEHEHEHHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEE! Moving down, left fielder Dawson was the next ler, tickling Hillary on her hips, inner thighs, and knees with fingers, causing her legs to buck:HEHEHHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEH! Finally, Mitch positioned himself at Hillary's feet, and tickled them with fingers, feathers, and electric toothbrushes on her bare soles and toes. Hillary went beserk, wiggling her toes every which way, and squealing with laughter:HEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHE! OMG PLEASE NO MORE! I GIVE UP! NOOOOOOOOO! HEHEHEHEHHEEHHEHHEHEHEHE! Finally, the tickle ended, and Hillary was untied.

On Thursday night, Naomi drove Mitch to Nassau International, so that he could catch the team flight to Washington DC. "Homestand didnt start out so well, but ended okay. Now go off, continue that on the road, and I'll see you next Sunday" Naomi said, kissing Mitch goodbye.

So, it had been a homestand which started poorly, but ended well. Now came a ten day trip. Would the good play continue? That answer to come in the continuing story of the Tickle Team From Paradise Island.

The End

I was glad to see that the Good Guys managed to pull that homestand up and get back to winning. After that road trip they needed to regain some steam. Another great one and I look forward to the next one.

HappyD

Thank you happy, your praise is appreciated as always. Yes, the Good Guys did have a rough road trip, and start to the homestand, but they did pick things up there at the end.

As you know, stay tuned, there will be more to come soon, likely later today.

Mitch
