I know there have been a lot of people unable to listen in to the live broadcast. The website says you need the latest version of Windows Media Player or other compatible audio player. There is a free download available here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/10/default.aspx

For mac users, you can use Flip4Mac available here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/wmcomponents.mspx

You also need the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, available here:

http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash

If that doesn't work, you may need to disable your pop up blockers.

It is possible you may actually need to register with the blogtalkradio website, which I recommend anyway, because then you can add TMF Radio to your friends list, get email reminders when our shows come on, enter the chatroom that goes on as the show is live, and leave us comments.

Now, I was one of the people that had done all of that and still couldn't listen to the live feed. Luckily, Venray figured out another solution.

If you press the "click to listen" button on our profile, it brings you to a page that has the player and the chatroom in one. When I was brought to this page, I could only hear the intro to the show and then nothing. I could chat, but couldn't hear anything.

Once I opened the chatroom in a separate window and the broadcast in another, I was able to both chat and listen in at the same time.

The chatroom link is here:

http://www.blogtalkradio.com/UserChat.aspx?HostUserURL=TMF-Radio

Now, because the link to the live feed changes with every show, you have to go to the thread in which the latest installment is advertised to get that specific link.

Once you have these two windows open, you should be able to hear the show and chat.

This might be a silly question, but upon registration to the radio chatroom, you are asked to provide a zip code. Living in the UK, there are no such things as zipcodes, and so I have no way of accessing the chat.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Hmm. I've no clue how to remedy that since the website is US-based and the call-in numbers are all NY-based.

I guess you could just make up a 6 digit number?

I think they only ask you that to determine your time zone, so it's not that important.

Yeah I already tried the 6 digit number thing, didn't seem to work. Perhaps it needs to be in a specific format (ie, do the numbers actually mean anything, or will any random number do?)

Here's one I just looked up. 99501.

You can pretend you're from Anchorage, Alaska. :)
