I just saw this in today's paper

http://www.nypost.com/seven/04262008/news/regionalnews/palace_of_pain_spanked_108135.htm

For those of you who know about RHC, it's great place for tickling, so I hope they don't shut down.

This is bad. I went there twice and loved it. Pity those six girls went down the wrong path and started having sex for money instead of just S&Ming. Pity. :(

A pity!? Come on and use your head. Do you think a girl would waste her time sitting in a dom house and spending her money buying dom gear to charge $220 in exchange for sexual intercourse? Give us some more credit.

I'm very close with the women involved, being one of the 30+ mistresses who weren't arrested and call the HC home. We love each other like a family there.

They are our dear friends and I know I hate seeing their names slandered, I can only imagine what it's like for them and what they had to deal with while being held in custody. I hate it. The other 30 or so of us happened not to be working that day... it could have been any of us.

Stop thinking the worst. Wait to see what happens and what they say before you get the lynches ready.

A dom, by definition, does not exchange sex for money, a dom does not service.

I apologize for sounding rude. I am rooting for all of you.

Oh my God I can't believe this,

Just yesterday I went to the HC's website and couldn't get in, not sure why at the time. Today I thought I would send an email to a Mistress that I came to know down there, I check the website again, still can't get in. Then I come to the forum and what do I see? The name Rebecca's Hidden Chamber posted as a conversation thread. I for one hope that the place does not get shut down, I mean the place is awesome. No I never paid any of the Mistresses for sex but the tickling sessions I had were unbelievable. Let us pray HC does not get shut down and we as customers can see our Mistress friends again.

notice the article is in one of NY's right wing newspapers ( yes NY has them too ). the whole thing is typical of the anti-sex, anti-sensuality hysteria we suffer from in this puritan country.

never been to the place but it definitely seems like a very cool place.
i'm with you all. i hope and pray they don't get shut down.

I was a regular client there for many years when Mistress Zara worked there. I found it very hard to believe, so I will wait and see what happens before coming to any conclusion.

I don't need to reserve judgment, because I don't think it's necessary to judge these women. From my point of view, this is a waste of law enforcement resources - whether or not the women in question were providing sex to their clients. Prostitution is a victimless crime. So even if they're "guilty" it's a waste of public funds, and if they aren't then it's both a waste and a tragedy.

While I have not worked at The HC for some time, I did want to let you know what I have heard through the mistress grapevine.

Apparently, an undercover policeman entered the HC and asked all 8 mistresses available if strapon was a possibility. 6 said yes, 2 did not.

You know the rest.

According to some NYC law, strap on is a form of sexual intercourse (huh?) and therefore, is considered prostitution.

I feel for all involved.

Isn't one of the authors of the article, Philip Messing, the journalist who was posting here looking to speak to people about an article or something?

I couldn't agree more. I am so sick of this country being touted as the world's source of "freedom and democracy" while we waste money we don't have on busting people for having sex. Not that it's what was going on, but I'm making a point. It's all back to the same damned thing. Puritanical oversight from the same old right-wing influences, same old lobbying from the same old overseers who can't take thier religion and do something good with it...rather than forcing it into our pants.

Oh, and the "article"? How biased can you get in your reporting? I'm assuming the "unidentified customer" is the same one they always fall back on when fucking with a place where people don't act like good little Christians. And the definition of "sex" is never mentioned either, is it? Look, I've been to enough BDSM clubs, dungeons and the like to tell you...NO ONE is going to have sex with you for $220. Go into one. Try it. See what happens.

The rest of the world has far more mature views on sex than we do. Our government sucks all the resources we have to dole them out to the top 1%, bailing out the corporations that fucked us in the first place...and we waste money, manpower and resources because.....dear lord...someone might be having an orgasm outside of marriage. Or might be paying money for it. We can pay billions of dollars from our "churches" to get the government to do what we want them to do, which they lap up like dogs at the dinner dish while rolling over and doing tricks, but a person earning what little money is left can't spend it on a private matter that HARMS NO ONE.

Again, I'm not saying this was what was going on here...just making a point.

When will America grow up?

I agree. I mean police complain about not having enough hours in the day to get the drug lords and child predators off the street.

But at the same time, have all the time in the world to prohibit consenting adults.

I have such disdian for the way the 'reporters' bend the truth, all in the name of a better headline.

This reporter was no different than any other 'journalist'. They all want their name in the headline, and it does not matter at whos expense.

All of the other problems...violent crimes, robbery, organized crime, parole violators, sexual predators, drug dealers, gang activity and missing persons...ect.ect..that stuff can all wait. lets get those mistresses selling fun and excitement first! I think these cops have their priorities a little mixed up!
