Here is one of my short stories I have written. It does have some tickling, but it is not meant to be erotica, as you will see. It is also one of the origen stories of an important character in my series I am working on. I hope you like.

Aftermath
A Guardians Angel origin story

Director Kyle Lemmon sat in the back of the makeshift office and watched the agents there. He had set up a team to look into an area of concern from a broad spectrum of Homeland Security agents and it had barely worked. Two of his four undercover agents were getting attention at an area hospital. One was probably going to need psychiatric care for some time. The last undercover agent was headed to this office and he was livid. The four agents that were to be surveillance and backup were in this office with the Director. Three acted like nothing was wrong. One looked to be too deep in thought to be viable for anything.

Agent Jason Stephens walked in, narrowed in on the other four agents and never noticed the Director. The anger emanating from the thirty five year old man made him look taller than his six foot two frame. “I thought that working with this supposed great Ivy League crew would put me in a great situation to learn. All I’ve learned is that you four are pieces of shit. How, in God’s name, could you get so caught up in your voyeurism and taping of the women at the strip club, that you didn’t notice that Agents Boone, Castille and Sinclair were in trouble? Those three women are going to need help, Boone most of all, that they could have been saved from. I’m calling Lemmon and requesting a formal investigation. You guys, at the very least, need to be kicked to the curb.”

Three of the four men Stephens was facing stood. Agent Sergei Kalismokov stayed in his seat and looked as if the wind had been knocked out of him. The senior agent, Thomas James, looked like a chameleon that leaned against a fire truck. Agents Chris Tyner and Todd Bailey looked like they were just following James lead.

James stalked over to Stephens. “Well Agent Stephens, wasn’t that what you were supposed to do? You seem to know all the answers for someone who just joined Homeland Security. One of your primary goals was to keep those girls from danger. You were the one who was negligent, boy. All I saw, was you moving in on Boone like she was some prize at the county fair. The other two didn’t even seem to matter to you. Just what were we supposed to do while sitting here?”

Stephens got in his face quick. “I was supposed to infiltrate a criminal organization that had international ties, you moron. The three female agents were supposed to keep the club under surveillance. You, you piece of crap, was supposed to keep communications going, so I could do both. You had cameras that the four of us put in there, for you to watch what was going on. All I ever saw you freaks do was record the strippers. I’d hate to see the space used on government computers to keep all those videos.”

Director Lemmon stood and got between the two men. He knew something had to be done to cool Stephens down. “Agent Stephens, I had already decided there was to be an investigation and that was hours ago. Not the normal follow up investigation, either. This debacle deserves a full and thorough investigation. These four agents should have come as soon as possible when you sent out the signal of an emergency, not sent locals. Instead, when I showed up, I saw three men who could have cared less. I’m also sending in specialists to help the three agents in the hospital and any other victims. I would like to know where your daily reports are, though.”

Stephens cocked an eyebrow and then glowered at James. “I gave those to Agent James in e-mail and hard copy, almost daily, sir. I am also waiting on the results on a chemical that I wanted sent to the lab.”

James rolled his eyes. “Why the hell would I send that trash? It sounds like pure fiction for weak minds like yours. I told the Director here that we should only populate the DHS with people from the right backgrounds.” James pointed to Stephens. “He’s some thug from the military with a weak school from which he got his degree. Director, his incompetence led to this situation.”

Director Lemmon shook his head. “Gentlemen, this is at the end. Get your gear packed. I will meet everyone back in D.C. after you get everything cleared up here. Stephens, did you do any backing up of your reports?”

“Of course, sir. A wise Sergeant First Class once told me that backing up everything would save your ass in many ways. There is no reason to fail because of it.”

Stephens went to a very old filing cabinet from when the hanger was used to train Russian pilots. He pulled out a lock pick gun and opened the bottom drawer. He pulled a computer memory stick out and a vial of red liquid. He handed both over to Director Lemmon.

To: Secretary, Department of Homeland Security

From: Director, Office of Operations Coordination

Secretary,
This report is to be a summary to you on the final day of our operation at Daggett Field in Barstow, CA. I’m sure that you appreciated us defending the U.S. out of a former base that was used in World War II to train the Soviet pilots for the Douglas Aircraft Co. DB-7s and A-20s. I picked it for just that historical significance. Sorry for the digression, but we both love history and it was excellent to be at a base that had such a role in international events.

To get to the point, there are few bright points to this debacle. Agent Jason Stephens showed himself to be resourceful and valuable. I have read through his daily reports, now that I have them, despite of the actions by Agent Thomas James. The reports have led to about one hundred and fifty arrests to date. Following through on contacts Stephens made and interrogations did this. Dr. Pioter Luttrel created the formula acquired by Stephens, a biochemist we now have in protective custody. There will be more in this report later on that subject. It was fortunate that Stephens pushed the issue about the formula.

Stephens was credited by Agents Julie Boone, Samantha Sinclair and Jessica Castille with keeping them in touch with reality during their deep cover and with resolving their being held captive. His calm under fire led to arrests of key players at the club, albeit they needed medical attention. His actions that day, by shooting to injure more often than kill, exhibit that he is a thinking man. I recommend that he be in charge of the special program we discussed two months ago. I cannot praise the young agent enough.

Another bright point is that, though agents were hurt and other agents have been relieved of duty, we shut down the American side of an international crime organization. We also put a hurting on other parts in other countries. According to our estimates, we put down forty eight percent of the organization’s slave trade. The drug side of the case even reached into operations being run by the D.E.A. as well. There have been a couple of investigations that have been turned over to the A.T.F. for the weapons issues. Total estimate of the dollar amount taken out was in the neighborhood of fifteen billion. We have about four thousand young ladies that were taken out of slavery to top it all off.

Dr. Pioter Luttrel was an interesting find. His notes are being gone through, still. One of our scientists says that his work could have earned him a Nobel Prize. We still aren’t sure how to proceed with him. We actually have him in a safe house. He had nothing to do with the drugs as far as we can ascertain. The formula that he created was legally made for a foreign government. There has been an ingredient added in to make it addictive, for the criminal organization.

This formula is not listed as an illegal drug by our country. The research he is currently working on and that the formula came from is towards dementia. Justice does not want to prosecute him because of there being too many gray areas. We have convinced him to help Agents Boone, Castille and Sinclair, though. He is a brilliant man, in the mold of Einstein and Newton and I believe he would do much good with the medical organizations of the U.S.

Agent Julie Boone is the worst off mentally of the three female agents. According to Frank Early, the head of the American side of the organization, she was being primed to be kept here in the U.S. She was being turned servile and dependent upon them. The formula had been given to her, to Dr. Luttrel’s understanding, in excessive amounts. The staff psychiatrist that is working with her has noticed marked changes in her personality. She has exhibited signs of subservience that has never been there before. She continuously drops her eyes away from any male. She did grow an attachment to Stephens, though. He tried to protect her and it led to her seeing him as her protector. The psychiatrist does not want them separated, just yet. He’ll be able to still function fully as an agent. She may not ever recover psychologically and would not be able to be an agent again.

Agents Jessica Castille and Samantha Sinclair have recovered physically. They may still have bruises, but otherwise, they are fine. Mentally, well, they are still addicted to the aforementioned formula. Dr. Luttrel has determined that even though the two women had substantial doses on the final day of the assignment, they should easily beat the addiction. Theirs will be the test case to break all the addictions. They are cleared for desk duty and should be cleared fully within three months. Both have minor changes to their personalities, that is all.

Agent Thomas James is out. His actions proved him to not only a liability to DHS, but also a criminal. He turned in none of Agent Stephens’ reports which detailed the progress of all four undercover agents, threw away Dr. Luttrel’s formula and was a hindrance to the level of criminal in backing up the undercover agents. Justice is pressing charges against him for his actions. He went into a tirade the day of the debacle about the unsuitability of certain types of people. This was after Agent Stephens handed over his backup files. Stephens showed quite a bit of self restraint in not hitting him from the personal attacks. I wanted to hit him myself, as he was so rabid.

Agents Chris Tyner and Todd Bailey are out as well. They followed Agent James lead in hindering the undercover agents. They did not do anything criminal, but their negligence led to their dismissal. They did not have an excuse for their actions.

Agent Sergei Kalismokov was the surprise of the surveillance agents. He rose up when he had never done so before. When he realized the situation had become bad for our undercover agents and could not get any action from Agent James, he called me. He, up to that point in his career, had followed the status quo. I don’t believe the follow up would have been as successful if he had not. He also backed up Agent Stephens’ accusations of the saving of the videos taken of the strippers in Early’s club. He is going to have to go through some retraining on certain aspects of an agent’s actions, but is salvageable and could have an excellent career left.

The information gathered in this operation has been valuable to both the law enforcement and intelligence side of my department. I cannot stress enough that Agent Stephens’ actions were above critical to the success we had. The most surprising arrests were the three border patrol officers. Stephens dealt with them twice, not knowing they were crooked the first time. These three gentlemen have quite a bit of intelligence for us and will be hid away for a few months. The rest of the report will be a timeline of events from the last day of the operation. I have used excerpts from of Stephens’, Boone’s, Sinclair’s, Kalismokov’s and Early’s statements. Early hasn’t been entirely forthcoming, but has been goaded into talking candidly a few times. I editorialized a few places to place other viewpoints and information gained later.

Excerpt of Agent Julie Boone’s statement

Just as I was about to get off from work, Mr. Early came to me and said I would be staying at his place that night. This was odd and I had no time to alert Jessica or Samantha. Jason had left early to take a trip to Mexico, so he was unreachable as well.

When I got to Mr. Early’s house, Mr. Tim Stanton gave me a drink and I was told to go to bed. (D. Lemmon edit-Stanton was killed by Stephens later that day. Early has admitted the drink was laced with the formula.) When they woke me in the morning, I was told to strip, shower and go into the dining room and eat. The rest of the day I was naked and interrogated.

The form of torture they used was tickling. Mr. Stanton told me I was to have no bruises as I would be a gift to Jason if I passed. He was to be brought into the organization when he got back. I even got fingerprinted.

Approx. 11:30 a.m., same day
Excerpt from Frank Early’s interrogation.

I got hold of a buddy of mine at the FBI, not going to say his name, sending in that little filly’s information. About 11:30, he called and said she was D.E.A. He sent over her full records by fax. (D. Lemmon edit- We’ve narrowed the possibilities down on the Bureau agent.)

When we got back to her, we knew how to break her. A few days after she had arrived at my club, one of my guys playfully tickled one of her cute feet when she was kneeling. Her reaction was golden. Since she had been given extensive amounts of the formula, she was very programmable. She gave up the other two girls, who had not been dosed much, as they were headed to Yemen. By 12:30 we had the other two fillys and had started working on them.

12:45 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Jason Stephens’ statement

I had been trying to get hold of the Agent Boone since about 11:00 a.m., since reentering the U.S. Normally I would hear from her about 10:30, but had not. To keep up appearances that she was my girlfriend, she was regularly at my house and giving me updates on what the others had found. This worried me, as she had been acting increasingly peculiar and Agent James would not allow us to get a staff psychiatrist to run an examination. (D. Lemmon edit- Because of Agent James’ hindrance, Dr. Jennifer Ross said the three female agents were addicted without any of them being able to help.)
Through Agent Kalismokov, Agent James told me to quit worrying. Agent Kalismokov whispered to me that he was going to do what he could.

2:00 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Sergei Kalismokov’s statement

Due to the issues arising from Agent Boone’s lack of communications and the fact she was observed leaving with Frank Early, I decided to try anything. I contacted Director Lemmon, who thankfully was in Los Angeles. He decided to get there ahead of Stephens’ arrival at 4:00.

3:00 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Samantha Sinclair’s statement

When Stanton force fed the three of us, I saw it was around 3:00 p.m. They decided it was my turn to be interrogated. I gathered that though Agent Stephens’ cover was not blown, ours was. It was known I was A.T.F.
Early was livid, as he could not understand how his organization could be so infiltrated. For the next hour, I was sexually degraded, but thankfully not raped. While this was going on, an arab man appeared and the three of us were bound, still naked, together and led out.

4:10 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Jason Stephens’ statement

I showed up to Early’s house and pulled to the back. I saw all three female agents naked and tied together, led to a black SUV. I pushed the emergency alert on my cell to alert the hanger and got out to see what could be done. Early told me what he had found out.

Early then introduced me to the Yemenese man, by the name of Tariq. I recognized him and another with him from photos we had to look through when I was stationed in Iraq. (D. Lemmon edit- It is Tariq Wassari, head of the Yemen branch of Al Quieda. The other is a hard hitter from the U.A.E. called Hussein, but no clue his real name.) While discussing in arabic what was going on, I rehit the emergency button.
I told the women the code phrase that we were to act.

4:30 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Sergei Kalismokov’s statement

When the emergency alerts came in, I alerted Agent James’. He said it was all from Stephens’ overactive imagination and to not worry. When the second came in, he said send a local patrol. I went outside and called Director Lemmon. As his team was already in the area, we coordinated where they had to go. Director Lemmon pulled up as we were in conversation. The backup he brought was already in place.

4:30 p.m.
Excerpt from Agent Jason Stephens’ statement

Agents Castille and Sinclair were able to take down one of their guards by acting in concert. Agent Boone seemed lost and of no help. That left seven men. I quickly threw two throwing knives and killed the men I hit. While I was dealing with gunfire, the calvary arrived. The backup that appeared took care of the rest and helped me clothe the female agents. We then got them to the hospital.

Stephens walked into Director Lemmon’s office and shook hands with him. “You called me here today, sir?”

“Yes, Jason, I have a proposal for you. I need someone to head up a unit to work on cases that are cluttering up our system. These are ones that have several reasons for not being taken care of. Some aren’t glamorous enough or they are considered too small for federal law enforcement, but yet they are too big for local and state entities. I need someone like you to head this up. Someone who will use his brains, yet get can dirty without whining. Up for it?”

Stephens looked stunned. “Yes sir, I am. Already got a team?”
“No, but I have a preference for you. I have a group that is now technically civilian that would be perfect. Think you can work with Marines?”
Stephens chuckled. “Yes sir.”
Lemmons handed him a folder. “There you go. May heaven shine down.”
