That movie got a lot of crap, but I enjoyed it.

Great pic and cool on you for de-lurking, man. :)

Are you referring to the Charlize Theron movie? Because the characters in the drawing are from the original animated series, not the movie.

In any case, very nice drawing, obviously inspired from a very surprising scene from the old series.

Yurihausen, when I first saw your art on Tickle Theater I felt it was vaguely reminiscent of the Aeon Flux animated series with a very nice original touch. I have to say your artwork is excellent! Consider me a fan.

Regardless. :)

It's well done.

This is a dynamite pic.

You're style really work so well with it.

Would love to see some more from you.

On another note... I actually really liked the movie, but I was a huge fan of the animated series too.

So nice to see a female hero for a change.

I mean the film was no "Alien", or "Doomsday", or "Underworld" but it was still a nice visual romp with a good chick hero.

IMHO.

Thank you all for the kind remarks.

Indeed, the original animated series remains a staple of my favorite cartoons of all time, as well as Aeon, who, aside from just being an awesome heroine, is one of my cartoon dream girls.
In my opinion, she ranks up there with the likes of Chun-Li, Galley (Gunm), April O'Niel, etc.

Anyway, I hope to post more tk-pics soon. In the meantime, here is some mundane stuff.

(i liked the live-action movie, btw, {gasp!!})

This is inspired from the pilot episode, right? A great first post and very well drawn too!

it's always refreshing to see someone use gestural sketching to develop a figure. Great work on that Aeon drawing! a little inspiration from the pilot episode me thinks :) You have a really nice sense of structure on the body parts, from the highly emphasized veins and pointed facial elements that's synonymous to the aeon flux cartoon style to the very anatomically correct work on drawing all the arches and wrinkles on her feet, this is some top notch stuff. Great first submission, you do some awesome work.
