Bulimic Eyes

There goes another meal,
She had only tasted,
Just to come back up again,
All this food was wasted.

Trying not to eat,
And pushing food away,
Every time she breaks,
She’ll be the one to pay.

Head still in the toilet,
She can’t stand the smell,
Teary eyed and shaking,
This is her living hell.

She can’t be proud,
Even though she knows,
This will keep her skinny,
This torture’s what she chose.

She’ll always be stuck,
Even if she eats,
The starvation can be stopped,
But bulimia still repeats.

a really touchy subject but addressed in a very elegant way.
I like the way you started the poem, like it's capturing the moments right after the act. The A B A B rhyme pattern i feel is appropriate for the subject matter, the final line "But bulimia still repeats" gives me the feeling this same poem will be repeated again and the consistent rhyme pattern helps enforce that.
