Where are all the members?

I have noticed a recurring trend on TMF and I am curious as to why this is. There are approximately 840 registered members on TMF as of today, June 12, 2001 at 2:00pm. EDT.
But, when I check to see who is on the Forum at the same time as me, there are always so many more guests than members.
Fot instance, right now,
There are currently 5 members and 66 guests on the boards.
So I ask, Where are the registered members and why are there so many guests unregistered?
I'm sure no one has an answer to this, but it has been on my mind and wasted to put it out there.

Njjen, each member can choose the option 'Invisible Mode' when signing up for the forum, and they will not show up in the 'logged-in' section by name. So you'll see only those member names who decided not to be invisible... :)
It's in the 'Profile' section just below the header line (see 'edit options' there). Revealing your presence in the forum is greatly appreciated, but anyone's desire to be invisible is accepted as well, of course.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. It is always something I have wondered.
I can assure you and anyone who reads this, that I will not be using that option. I always want to be visable. LOL
