The Good Guys embarked on their next road trip. It went fairly well. They began by taking two of three games in both Pittsburgh, and Chicago, before losing two of three in St Louis. They returned home, on a Sunday night, to begin a nine game homestand, against the teams from California.
On the last night of the Good Guys road trip, in St Louis, Mitch was talking to Naomi on the computer. Charlize gave up one run in eight innings, as Paradise broke a 1-1 tie, with three eighth inning tallies, for a 4-1 victory. Neve Campbell gave up three early runs on Wednesday night, but Paradise tied the game in the sixth, and won it in the eighth, with three runs, for a 6-3 triumph, to complete the sweep.
Thursday was an off day. That day, in counesling, Mitch and Naomi had good news for the couneslor. "Nicole Kidman gave me an extremely helpful talk while I was on the trip. Naomi and I are getting along very well. The team just swept the Giants, the crowds are increasing. Things seem better" Mitch said. "I'm thrilled to hear that, I know that all of you have been through a tough year with your personal problems, and the team's issues.
