Threatening Torture.

This is a poem I thought of in a couple of minutes. I hope you guys enjoy it; give me your thoughts on it.
Honeslty, there is a little message in this poem; I want you guys to find it. I mean, it's brought up in a different way, a little Edgar Allen Poe style, if you will. (; Haha.

When I first saw Him
The gaze upon His face that made me
Happy.
That special twinkle in His eye that is
The most wonderful thing I have ever seen.
The smile upon His mouth that
Created the warm water in my eyes.
That breath taking voice that made me
Sigh in joy.
The spark in my soul lightened up
And burned a part of my heart.
It traveled to my mind
And it tattooed a spot
There.
It told me
How I'm always going to remember Him.
That I will
Love Him.
Forever.
No matter how much He hurt me
No matter how much I hurt myself
By thinking of Him.
But the secret is
Along these lines
Always, for as long as I live
Remember Him, I shall.
Orginally, He was my life
Now, I die because He isn't.
I can't look away from my past.
Miss Him, I do
I can't stand to dream of Him
Since I can not help myself
Sincerely, my emotions mean well when I dream of Him.
Yelling inside, screaming at the top of my lungs
Or even whispering tears, I share this secret of mine.
Until the day I end my days, I will think of Him on my final day.

.....................DEEP ASS WORDS!! I love it and it gets the mood and point across! I am sorry you suffered for this. If he can not appreciate or even take the chance to rekindle then he is not worth it. I know how it is to gain that feeling of love and that feeling that nothing else matters but the one person, and even more so when that person is the one you can not have!! You will be strong though i know it!

You bare everything when you write, little darlin'. Not much to say that we haven't already talked about, but yeah....I really get it. You make it easy to.

You manage to walk that fine line between choosing the right words to convey what you're feeling, and chosing the right feelings to allow the words to make sense. It's not "overwrought", it's just right. I'll be honest, a lot of poetry can read like the writer crammed a thesaurus into thirty or forty lines, but you don't need to do that.

Thanks, this was a real treat for the head and heart.
