The Good Guys embarked on their second road trip of the year. It did not go particularly well. After Paradise won two of three games in Pittsburgh, they proceeded to drop two of three games in both Chicago, and St Louis. They returned home, on a Sunday night, to begin a nine game homestand the next night, against the teams from California.

While Mitch was away on the road trip, a bizzare turn of events occured. Naomi was contacted by a movie production company, for the purpose of offering her a large role in an upcoming movie. The catch was, she needed to discuss the role as soon as possible, and the production company could not wait, for things to be convinient in regard to the Good Guys season. Naomi flew to California, and indicated to Elmont Koehler that she might not return at all for the upcoming homestand, an "offense", where she would be fined $1000 a day. Naomi, who was offered very few movie roles, decided to accept the fine, and investigate the part. Naomi's sudden actions served to anger Mitch, and set the stage for a severe problem between the couple.

When Mitch arrived home, on Sunday night, Naomi was not there. Naomi had indicated to Mitch in an e-mail, that she would be busy dealing with the movie situation, and that she would call him, but that he should not call her. Naomi called Mitch, and he was not available. If Mitch tried to call Naomi back, her cell phone was shut off, because, presumably, she was in a meeting about the movie. Thus, they could not connect by phone.

The Good Guys, meanwhile, opened a nine game homestand on Monday night, at the ballpark, against the Giants. Gil Bellows started, and pitched well, allowing only one run into the eighth inning, as three solo Good Guys homers, resulted in a 3-1 win. Charlize Theron pitched on Tuesday night. She allowed two runs in her six innings of work, as the Good Guys rallied from a 2-1 deficit, to score four times in the seventh, and cruise to a 5-3 victory. Neve Campbell gave up two solo homers in six plus innings on Wednesday night, but the Good Guys could not recover, and dropped the game, 2-0.

Thursday was an off day. With Naomi away, Mitch cancelled the counseling appointment, and spent his day at the casino, with members of the team. In the evening, he went to visit Cathy, and took her out to dinner. "We shouldn't really.. do that, with Naomi gone, but I wanted to see you and Christopher. I dont know what is going through Naomi's head right now, but I have to wait for her to sort it out" Mitch said to Cathy. Cathy kissed Mitch:" It's okay, sweetie, I understand, it's just good to see you.. Our relationship should be about more than just animalistic sex anyway. Hopefully Nai will be home soon, and we can sort this all out." Cathy replied.

San Diego came to town on Friday night. Rachel Leigh Cook started, and gave up four homers, good for six runs, and lost, 6-2. Hayden pitched brilliantly on Saturday night, giving up no runs into the ninth inning, and combining with Ellen Page, for a 1-0 triumph. Gil Bellows opposed Padres ace Jake Peavy, on Sunday, for the 1pm game, a sunny, dry, 85 degree day, in front of a rare sellout. Bellows and Peavy dueled each other, each pitching shutout ball for nine innings, with Peavy striking out a dozen Good Guys, and Bellows whiffing ten Padres. . In the tenth, Ellen Page came in, and, after an error, and a hit, promptly served up a long three run homer, that would sink the Good Guys, to a 3-0 loss in ten innings.

The Dodgers entered Paradise on Monday, for the homestand's final series. Charlize Theron pitched on Monday night, and gave up four runs, as the Good Guys did not have much offense that night, and lost, 4-2. Neve Campbell had the ball on Tuesday night. Neve pitched a very strong game that night, allowing but one run in six innings, and punching out nine Dodgers. The game was tied 1-1 into the eighth, when Ed Burns hit a solo homer, to give the Good Guys a 2-1 win. Rachel Leigh Cook started the game on Wednesday afternoon, a hazy, moderately humid 84 degree day, before a crowd of about 30,000. That day, the Good Guys played like the Keystone Kops in the field, committing five errors. Cook did not pitch well, either, as she and her teammates dug the team into a 5-0 hole. However, Paradise got the score even, in one gulp, in the bottom of the sixth, on two RBI singles, and homers by third baseman Michael, and Mitch. The game was then tied, and went to the eleventh still tied, when Ed Burns stepped to the plate, and sent the crowd home happy, by hitting a long solo homer off a large tree beyond the left field wall. The homer gave the Good Guys a very hard fought, 6-5, 11 inning win, and completed a winning, but subpar, five and four homestand. Clearly, the team had not played its best on the nine game stanza at home, and, as they prepared to head to San Francisco the next night, the Good Guys hoped for better road fortunes.

In the meantime, the team held its Saturday tickle party, following the win over the Padres. The featured lee would be actress Jayma Mays, who had starred in the movie "Paul Blart, Mall Cop". Ms Mays was tied hands and feet to the bed, in a bra and panties, in the middle of the fetish club. Second baseman Russell began the tickle on Jayma's neck with fingers, as her head shifted, and the giggles began:HEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEEHHEHEE! Working down, Center Fielder Burns was next, tickling Jayma on her underarms, sides, ribs, and belly with fingers, counting her ribs, as she squealed:HEEHHEHEHEHEHEHHEEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHHEEE! NOOOOO! Moving down, pitcher Gil Bellows was the next ler, attacking Jayma on her hips, inner thighs, and knees with fingers, causing her legs to buck:HEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Finally, Mitch positioned himself at Jayma's pretty feet, and tickled her feet with his fingers, two feathers, an electric toothbrush, and ice, over her soles and toes. Jayma went beserk, wiggling her toes every which way, and screaming with laughter! HEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEEHHEHEHEHEE! OMG PLEASE NO MORE! THIS IS TOOOO MUCH! I GIVE UP! NO MORE TICKLE! NO PLEASE NOOOOOOO! HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEE! Finally, the tickle ended, and the attractive redhead was untied.

On Thursday, Mitch took a taxi to the airport, to catch the team flight to San Francisco. Mitch had not heard from Naomi for days, by either phone, or email. En route to the airport in the cab, Mitch turned on his Yahoo instant messenger, and received a nasty instant message from Naomi, wanting to know "Where he was", and "Why he wasnt online waiting for her". Mitch, upon seeing Naomi's scolding instant message, became incensed, and he fired off a long, scathing, e-mail to her. In the e-mail, Mitch berated Naomi about her previous week's behavior, her absence, her lack of being in touch, and now her instant message. The e-mail basically said: "How dare you, you bitch!". Mitch pushed the send button, and closed his laptop. He was going to California for ten days now, but clearly, there would be many battles to come, about the communication, and lack thereof, between Naomi and him the previous week and a half, and many other issues. First, though, the Good Guys had a ten day road trip in California, never an easy task, to deal with.

What effect would the communication between Mitch and Naomi have when Mitch returned home? That answer to come in the continuing story of the Tickle Team From Paradise Island.

Well even if the Good Guys aren't firing on all cylinders they're still doing alright. It is another story with Mitch and Naomi however. Her behavior is hard to fathom sometimes but I fear that Mitch's reaction will bring more trouble in the long run than it served to vent his frustrations. Another great one and I look forward to the next one.

Thank you, happy, your praise is appreciated as always. Mitch and Naomi are having some serious problems now, and I fear it may only get worse.

As you know, stay tuned, there will be more to come soon.

Mitch
