Have anyone thought about using Twitter to communicate with people going to the NEST?

I think it would take away from people actually being in the moment
at NEST, concentrating on having fun there, as well as take away
some of the fantastic post-NEST threads we get.

That being said, we usually get a few fun "this just happened" or
"this just said" at NEST posted here, which are fun to go back to.

Putting something on twitter, when most people who go are from
here, would likely open NEST up to the outside world a little more,
and I'm all for ambassadorship, but still a privacy nut, so I'm kind of
on the fence about whether it's really in our best interests.

Twitter ... Twitter ... Twitter ... thats all I ever hear about .. and I have no idea!
Why can't we just stick with Facebook? Even if they do change their layouts 24/7!

Wah.

Don't feel that bad. I'm 25 and have no clue. I think it's just a bunch of status updates and nothing else.

Weird.

And as far as Facebook goes, I'm SO sick of the changes!! Protesting against it though is pretty much: :beathorse:

I actually really love Twitter. It's like blogging for the short of thought. Plus it connects you with people. I like to share things I am looking at or my feelings and what not. If you join Tweet me peeps.

Twitter is a micro blogging/social networking site. You can post small tidbits of what is going on around you and such and share them with your friends. when you join every media outlet within 50 miles of you asks to be your friend and when you are really really bored you make up stuff and watch the news vans swarm. I do not see a problem with twitter. I mean it is like sending out a mass text message to your friends i think you can only have like 200 characters in a tweet so it would be like:

Hey here at nest Lyz is getting pwnd for the nth time. it is great dont you wish you were here also.

or the like.

26 and I didn't know what it was until Mel just said what it was above.

And I don't blog either. Twitter shall not be used by I!
