We had a nice turnout for our Memorial Day gathering in Chicago,
including TickleChgo and his lovely wife, MTPJeff, Annie Hall, Brighteyes,
Natural Tickler, His Divine Shadow, and me - we had some classic
Chicago style Pizza, with a very sassy waitress, celebrated not one
but TWO birthdays (Happy Birthday Mairead & Terrance!) then
came back to the hotel for a little T&R (Tickling & Relaxation).

Andy and his wife had to leave, and we hung around for a little while,
until we started talking about the TMF and google, and when I logged
in to check the forum, I had one PM from a TMFer who had had to
work, and wasn't able to join us - Did we want to meet him after he
got out to go up to the roof of the Hancock Tower to see the skyline?
We all loved the idea, so hopped in a couple of cabs and met Wacky823
for a night time treat! The view from the top was amazing, and we'll
probably be posting a photo or two of the view and perhaps the
participants. After that, we visited a local tavern, then headed to our
respective beds for the night to crash.

All in all, a really fun time was had by everyone! I especially want to
thank Mrs. TickleChgo for joining us in our silliness, and Wacky for
the amazing offer and for coming to meet us as his first TMF outing ;)

Sounds like a great time, Lee! Glad folks were able to hang and enjoy!

Right on! Glad to hear your trip was so good.

Happy birthday to Terrence and Mairead, too!

I'm just home from Chicago and it was absolutely awesome. The view from the roof of the Hancock tower, combined with the really strong winds, is just breathtaking. And as Mairead pointed out, we got to do something almost nobody has ever gotten to do. Thanks Wacky, you really know how to make a first impression!

Indeed. It was amazing. My new sig quote is Mairead, after clinging
to my arm in fear in the wind, while my hair literally slapped her in
the face. :D

Best weekend of my life.

Oh, and Mondy's quote of the weekend is in my signature, too.

Next time I see you, by the time I'm done with you, an anal massage
will sound mild. :slapfight:

Good shit guys.

Fucking hail storm. Or else I woulda been!

After checking with our guide, I will share a few pictures I took of the skyline. (None of Mairead's feetless legs. Sorry, folks) The view of a lifetime, yes sirree. Click on each thumbnail to view the full-size image. I apologize for the poor quality: my camera will only shoot JPEGs and has a somewhat noisy sensor. But, it is a reliable and trusty friend all the same.

I can still hardly believe I was there. Mairead and I were talking about it and she said it was like the ending of a movie. A bunch of friends got together in a big city, did a bunch of interesting things, had some great food and drinks, and then by some amazing quirk of fate we ended up on the roof of the Hancock Tower. It really was surreal.

Hey! Just saw this thread...

It was great seeing you all and sharing some Chi-town pizza. Celebrating the two b-days was also fun!

When we went back to Lee & Amanda's hotel through the IML (International Mr. Leather) cocktail party, it was, umm, interesting (WOW!! :wow:) - not sure I've ever held Mrs. TC tighter!)

Mrs. TC enjoyed meeting you all, and thanks for welcoming her. Sorry we couldn't stay later and that we missed out on going to the top of the Hancock. Great pics! Both our kids had fevers and we had to get home (we had concerns about swine flu, but it wasn't).

For all of you Chicagoans who did not make it - sorry you could not join us. It was a fun munch. Where were you all??
