It is a SyncMaster 2333SW

5ms response

50,000:1 Dynamic contrast

16:9 aspect ratio

1920 X 1080 max reso

DVI-D w/ HDCP and RGB

Any ideas to make sure I am using monitor capabilities to the fullest ?

What are the current monitor settings? Also, for what types of applications will you be using the monitor? Different applications might require different settings.

What are you using it for, your PC I assume?

I just got a 23'' 1080p monitor for my ps3 and HD cable, so you can use it for plenty of things other then just PC.

Anyone looking to pick up a monitor almost as good

I just picked that up for the reasons I said earlier, on sale at 170, and it even came with an HDMI cable included. The only difference is is its 40000:1, not 50000:1.

That one is a good buy. I looked at that one and the LG, but decided to go with Samsung instead . A longtime friend is a assistant mgr there and got me his discount , so I really got a nice deal. The Samsung ended up being less expensive than the Acer
