How tasteless is this?

Hm. You know, I always loved the Nylon Dungeon series when I was a much younger creeper. Not so much looking back, simply because they're too... they're very much rape porn. But still, looking back I find them to be very well written, short but good stories.

But the real question is, does anyone consider it tasteless that I made an attempt to contribute to that story line? I feel like it kind of is. Not really sure if the original author would be offended or not - I'll give him credit when I decide to post it - but I also wonder if he really would be alright with me just kind of... almost blatantly plagiarizing his ideas. I dunno.

As an aside, I feel kind of not so good about writing rape porn so much. I don't think I've ever done anything where it was all of the above as far as non-consent, do-not-like-being-tickled, and in addition to non-consent the very rape elements behind the nature of the dungeon. Eugh.

Well, either way, I mostly just wanted to bring those stories back from the grave I think, and kind of wanted to explore that universe a little bit myself. Hm. I'm rambling. This is the time when I hit the post button!

Curiously, I remember reading some factoid a while back stating that since the 1970s, the number of rapes has become greatly reduced. Experts have stated that pornography and its availabililty of its various types being a possible reason for it diminishing. Essentially the wide variety of sexual media and the sense of "not being alone" and the ability to make use of rule 34 has resulted in less sexual frustration leading to incidents of violence. I do not know if this is more than conjecture of not, but it is interesting to think of.

I myself am not a fan of rape porn. But then again, since I am a fan of noncon tickle fiction and videos, I suppose I am in a very roundabout sense. So if you are contributing in a fashion to thos individuals, and such contributions are able to help people to release in a manner than helps to diminish violence, then I see nothing wrong with it.

To go along with my last thread, leave people alone. Writing fiction does not harm nor bother anyone. If people enjoy it, it can only help people. Albeit in a fetishistic manner, but perhaps even such unusual trappings laid upon an act of altruism can lead to someone being free from harm.

There's nothing wrong with fictional rape. Having fantasies involving rape aren't the healthiest thing in the world, but it's a far lesser evil than actually committing the rape.
