Hello all 
I know that last year i failed to make a NEST post, and this is something i regret as my NEST last year was a perfect blast. This year i want to make justice to all who work so hard and have my tale also around.

As many are aware, NEST 2010 was a problem for me. My life has been through some changes this year. Having a new work, in a new country, plus a bitchy new boss....doesnt help. I was never really sure when i could fly and ended up stuck with work untill friday. Still, i love NEST enough to go anyway...and managed to book 2 nice early flights that would take me there by saturday lunch time.....yeah...right!!!! At least they should
Ends up my NEST started the wrong way stuck on an airplane, watching in disbelief to the time going by and my next flight getting closer and closer. And all we could we could get from the captain was: "all flights already in air are being diverted from Frankfurt due to strong winds, so we will just stay parked here in Munich untill conditions change".....nice!!!
Parking lasted around 1:30 hours and obviously i started asking about my situation. I was told my gate at Frankfurt and a kind "run as fast as possible once we land". As all good optimistic and trusting people, i assumed this meant i still had a chance to catch my flight from Frankfurt to Philly....again.....not really!!!!! I did run, and i run quite fast....almost killed myself reaching that gate just to be told that it was closed for a while, so it was like f***** what now???
As if germans could sense i dont like them, they start sending me to these counters where my problem should be adressed. Mind you Frankfurt is a big airport and i was sent up and down like crazy. The 1st counter i get tells me there were no more flights to Philly and i was stuck....but i should look for another counter....miles away....and i dont want to complain about the waitting lines on these "counters". Second counter tells me that the airport was under some works and no one was sure how these counters were working now.....yeahhh....again....right!!!!! tell me something else!!!!! I was again sent miles away to a different counter.
As things could not get any worse....by then i start reallizing i had lost my home keys and Lufthansa passenger card on the last security check during the crazy run to the 1st gate. It was by then that i sent a desperate message to Baldadonis that i was stuck and had no idea what to do next.
Finally, when i was waitting in another looooong line on another crazy "counter", despair became rage and commitment. I decided that no germans would stop me so i would shove their counters up their h**** and find myself a solution. It was the best move i could have done!!!!
Now thinking indepedently i went to check the boards and find there was actually another plane leaving for Philly in less than an hour. Some light finally!!!!!! And even this gate was close to the one where i had lost my keys...so at least, should i be unable to board, i would have a chance to look for the missing keys. And there i go again running through the airport to arrive at this new gate which was already boarding the final passengers.
I went to plead with them that this was a short weekend for me, that i had to get in Philly still saturday, that i had no idea what was that mess with the counters and just wanted a place on that plane. MY THANKS TO THE US AIRWAYS staff!!!!!! They were kind, understanding, and imediately assured they would look for a spare place. By then, i also decided to ask for my keys and they offered to contact security while i was going through all the stresses of boarding to the good old USA (security questions and stuff like that). By now i had (finally) also some lufthansa staff helping me....after the US guy asked where i worked and showed them my company card.....yeahhhh...should have played that card earlier....the world is a fuc*** up place.
Now everyone assures me they were waitting for me. I here a call of "gate closed, no one else gets in" and they tell me my keys were found and just arriving with a security guy. I dont want to think but i guess it also helped that again these keys have the company logo on them so they started thinking they should be more kind to me
Finally, i got my car keys and runned my last race up to the plane. Boarding with big thank you´s to everyone and running to my seat as i here the "cabbin crew boarding completed" i did try sending a last minute sms warning i was coming but had to shut off my cellphone before it was through

NEST
Remember this is the tale of someone who is not that active on the forum. I´m not american, not a celebrity, i´ve been crash landing at the past NEST´s. So if i can do it, pretty much anyone can And mind you this time i crash landed with NEST already full steam and with just saturday night and sunday to go.
My welcome to NEST was, as allways, amazing!!!!!!! I had the pleasure of finding ROBACE as soon as i jump down the airport shuttle at the hotel. ROB, in all his style, imediately escorted me to NEST headquarters and filled me in what details i should know. At the headquarters, i was welcomed by none no other than our LEE. I said this to her and want to say it here: If i fly all this way each year, it´s because there´s a LeeAllure caring about all of us and making sure everything goes as best as possible. Even if she is allways busy, i´m sure every single NESTee would like to say that we all love her!!!!!!
After checking in, it was a roller coaster of getting to see so many familiar faces once again, and so many that i really miss during the year. From this roller coaster, i would like to say that i had the honour of still catching up with VENRAY/RAYA...and a true honour...again i know i speak for all Ahhh....they could not stay for sunday this year....among other friends we dearly missed this year (DVNC, JEFF and TAMIA are likely the ones i missed most, but not only).
I was imediately invited to take some cake and wish my friends David and Sarah happybirthday (altough i will not forget Sarah tomorrow!). The cake was great and i saw some more familiar and happy faces.
As i was not schedulled for none of the major dinners going on, catched up with Avenger, Ayla, and our newbie Vmandude. The next car drive is to be added to my infamous curse on Philly roads. Out of fun, the curse numbers now updated stand:
2008 - 2 drivers totally lost
2009 - 1 car crash, 1 driver totally lost even with GPS, a jammed seatbelt that got me totally locked (some alternative bondage) and another driver taking several wrong turns.
2010 - 1 car crash and again some wrong turns altough nothing serious.....credit must be given to Ayla´s orientation skills.
And people still want to drive me around......cant say i do not warn them!!!!
Well...back to the hotel and i spend the night bettween the main hall and "the reverend" party. Our reverend is a show inside the show by himself This was the 1st year i went to one of his parties. I ended up allways somewhere else on previous years. Allways felt welcomed, and had my chance to play a bit.
From this night i would like to say that i met one of the most fantastic ladys i ever met untill today, and i got to tickle one of the sweetest lee´s on TMF. I´ve allways loved her since my 1st year, it was a pleasure to finally get to make her laugh and squirm.....altough it was the Reverend doing most of the "hard work". Still.....i love you and your boyfriend!!!!! you guys know!!!! I think you are an example as a couple at NEST, and stand as everything i would like to do one day if i find the right person and should bring her to NEST. When that day comes, i want you guys to meet her
Ahhhh....i would also like to say that in this play with this sweetest girl, i had the honour of being side by side not only with the Reveren but allways with my friend Pokey. I think it totally fits and one day we needed to do that, glad we did!!!
The rest of the night was spent chatting with Libertine and KittenToes. If we chat again next year, remember me to tell you guys about my first bondage experience with those girls i told you about. I think it was one of those exactly like you usually advise against in their classes
I also tried to help with setting things up on the big room for sunday. Arriving at the last minute, i just wanted to be part of all, enjoy it as far as possible.
From this night i will also want to remember that it was the night i met Timy, my rave emperor. I knew Timy on the bar and altough he already had a few drinks on him, we got allong well since the beggining. The rave spirit i think goes well with the portuguese spirit....the next sunday night would confirm this feelling fully
And finally, i think almost 26 hours after leaving my bed in German Bavaria...it was time to sleep....but not for long!!!!!!
Sunday
As many have said, sunday was not the most perfect day ever. And we should say it and be honest. So that everyone knows that when something goes wrong at NEST, we do tell about it!!!!!!
I was awake early and some nice chats with many fine people. I think it was by then that i met TexasTickler, altough we would get closer on the next day. Another great friend i bring from NEST.
It is never easy to remember all that was said and with whom...specially have it correctly placed in time. But i did apreciate and enjoyed everyone with whom i chatted.
I had the pleasure and fun to witness the catch phrase game (arrived just a bit late to get into it). This was another show inside the show. CrazyDog totally owned this game with is "distraction techniques"
The main play as many have said, did not went so well. It never enough to say that this was not our fault. The hotel staff seemed understanding enough up untill that moment and i dont know if what happened was really anything more than "a terrible mistake" (to quote Lee who placed it perfectly).
On the good side, it should be said that our "troopers" behaved great when facing adversity. I think Lee imediately realized she had "an army" in whom she could trust. Without much more than angry whispers, we proceeded in good spirit to split into the 2 rooms already mentioned. Everything was set and taken care with the best will and comitment. Unfortunately, this setback did brake the pace of what is usually the "Big Event". Still, there was play and fun for many.
Myself, i got to play with a good friend, a really nice lady. And in the process got to know another NESTee with whom i teamed up. It was fun and she lasted quite a while She did really well
The rest of the evening had the highlight of the pizzas that TexasTicklet managed to buy for everyone. A great action from a great Man. But the stage was set for what was to become the longest and most interesting night i might have had at NEST.
The actors could not have been better casted. We had Amnesiac in place, which is allways reliable for great times, we had the 2 canadian ravers, both lovely and interesting. I will have to tell that i would never dream of having the kind of conversation i enjoyed that night at NEST. Among tickles, me and a fantastic lady shared a hell of a conversation.....at times it almost felt so excitting as the tickling....and this is how i compliment a great and crazy mind Big kiss and see if you get to Portugal!!!!!!!!
But Allassss....at maybe 6am...the night had to end sometime.....altough i think me and someone else would have resumed chatting easily untill morning
And then we get to Monday.......
Monday could have been just the saddest day ever, but it was not. In one word: TexasTickler!!!! We were among the few who were left behind and were happy to hang out together and find out we share many interests and thoughts. It was an amazing day and Texas really made it for all those goodbyes.
Again i think we stayed up untill quite late on monday, as Texas got back from the airport for an unexpected extra night. Some more good chat and another good beer were the perfect way to finally close NEST 2010.
The last farewell was said knowing that both of us will get back and meet again next year!
