Blessed are the broken hearted.
The wounds that form scars on
these souls will seal in a
knowing no one else can bear.
The truths they will obtain
forever changing the landscape
of the moment to moment
day by day.
Life becomes so much more
than the "this and that".
Somehow broken bones are
twice as strong on the other
side of disaster.
So are these blessed hearts
when the aftermath leaves
their beds, their lips,
their eyes, their arms.
So much MORE are these souls
that allow those wounds
to suture into thin reminders
of "once was",
but what made them whole parts
of a broken end that
simply needed to be.
So blessed are those with
broken hearts for they know
what life is meant to be.

I really didn't think this one was all that great but the intent was what mattered most to me and I'm glad you felt it too.
