The Tale of Laughinghontas
By The Masked_Tickler_2001

Laughinghontas was a young Indian maiden, very attractive, with one setback. She had rather large feet for her size. Her village was located in a large valley surrounded by a forest of large trees. Laughinghontas was the youngest daughter of Chief Full of Bull. Laughinghontas also had one weakness, her big feet were hyper-ticklish, something probably brought about as a young baby, her mother and sisters would often silence her crying by tickling her feet with feathers from their headdresses. The Tribe as a custom wore soft deerskin moccasins, however, Laughinghontas usually wore hers out due to the size of her feet and was known to run around barefoot on occasion, something she didn't enjoy since the soft grass would tickle her feet as she walked.

Our story begins on a warm summer day, the sun was shining, the birds were singing and all was right with the world, except for Laughinghontas' word that is. It was her turn to watch the little Indians of the tribe while the warriors were out on the hunting trip and the other women worked in the village and fields. Laughinghontas hated this because the children would often times make fun of her and tease her about her feet. Also, she would rather be walking through the forest enjoying nature, but unfortunately it was her responsibility and would be looked down on by the tribe if she didn't do her part for the village.

As the day began she gathered the 7 children, 4 girls and 3 boys whose ages ranged from 5 to 9, in a circle out in the field at the edge of the forest. Laughinghontas wore her usual deerskin loincloth that barely covered her rear end with a matching deerskin bikini top. The boys all had deerskin pants and the girls wore full dresses.

"Alright, what would you all like to do today? Nature walk?, or Swimming perhaps?" She asked

The Children spoke up all at the same time of course blurting out different things they wanted to do. Then one of the boys, the one Laughinghontas referred to as "Little Pain in the Bear" said.

"Let's play Hide and Seek, "Big foot".

All the Children laughed at the joke; Laughinghontas was not amused. The other children all agreed and started begging to play Hide and Seek. Laughinghontas hated to play hide and seek one because it was a childish game and two because somehow some way she always ended up being tickled by the children when she was found. Never the less, she agreed just to shut the little whiners up.

Laughinghontas set the rules and told them all of the boundaries so that no one would be too far away from the village; wouldn't want anyone to get lost and eaten by a bear or anything. "Little Pain in the Bear" chose himself to be it first, he turned and faced the big tree that would be base and started counting to 50. All the other children raced into the forest to hide. Laughinghontas did likewise. She had already found a good hiding place a few days before while walking through the forest and knew no one would ever find her. As she ran through the trees and bushes her moccasins slipped off her feet, she stopped and picked them up and continued running in her bare feet towards her hiding spot.

What Laughinghontas didn't know was that ahead of her was an old tree stump that had been home to a swarm of Honeybees. The stump had just recently been torn open by a large bear looking for a snack. The Sweet honey that was left ran down and out over the ground in a puddle.

Laughinghontas continued to run, as she looked back to see if anyone was following her, she didn't see the puddle of honey and stepped right in it. Laughinghontas stopped dead in her tracks and looked down. Her feet were covered in honey and there was no way of getting it off. The river was too far away, she couldn't go and wash it off that would mean leaving the children unattended. Off to her right there was an old tree that had fallen over and was hollowed out it was a very big and very old tree. As she stood there pondering what to do she heard some rustling in the bushes behind her. The opening of the tree looked big enough to hide her. Thinking that it was "Little Pain in the Bear" she held on to her moccasins and dove into the tree.

The opening wasn't quite as big as it looked especially since she was rather a well-endowed Indian Maiden, but she managed to squeeze herself in a little ways. She continued to wiggle and crawl her way a little deeper inside the tree, but suddenly she was stuck, her elbows pressed against her sides, she couldn't budge. The only thing that was left sticking out of the tree was, you guessed it, her feet.

She tried not to panic, that would only make the situation worse. She was on her back looking up through a hole in the tree trunk she could hear the rustling in the bushes again and remained quiet hoping and praying that she wouldn't be found. What she didn't know was that the rustling was from a couple of little bear cubs that were out looking for their mother. They rolled and pounced on each other as they came out of the bushes. Laughinghontas heard them and started to get nervous. She tried to remain still, but a small caterpillar was crawling across the top of her foot, she was trying with all her might not to laugh. She tried to shake her foot and knock the caterpillar off. The bear cubs saw some movement and went to investigate. Laughinghontas was finally successful in getting rid of the caterpillar, but not before the bears took notice. No longer being tormented by the tiny creature she relaxed and let out a small sigh. The bear cubs cautiously approached the strange things sticking out of the tree. They began by sniffing her feet with their noses; they could smell something sweet. Laughinghontas felt something at her feet; she froze hoping that it wasn't the bear cubs. Unfortunately, it was; the cubs sniffed the honey and began to lick it off her feet. Laughinghontas started shaking, the tongues tickled as they slowly licked the sweet goo from between her toes. She dare not laugh or the children would surely find her and THEIR torment would only be worse. She clinched her teeth and her legs quivered, the bears weren't going to miss a single spot of honey. They became very comfortable with their meal, they each took a foot and laid down. Laughinghontas laid there in her torment tears welling up in her big bright eyes. She couldn't stand it her feet started to twitch, the bears were a little amused by this and somewhat annoyed. They took their soft paws and laid one across the top of each foot to hold it in place, their claws were not sharp yet but were long and they curled around her foot and tickled them even more. She held out for as long as she could; there was a specific spot on her foot, a simple birthmark just under her big toe. This was the spot of all tickle spots on her foot; so far the cubs had not managed to give it much attention. However, one cub had managed to leave a dab of honey right above the spot just under her big toe and was making his way in that direction. Laughinghontas was in tickle agony; she shook her head back and forth. Then it happened, the cubs tongue ran right over the spot and that was all it took, Laughinghontas let out a very restrained but audible squeal.

"Eeeeeeek!"

Both cubs stopped suddenly, listening for whatever it was that made the sound. Since they stopped, Laughinghontas was given some relief; she let out a silent sigh and relaxed for a moment. It had been at least 15 minutes of sheer torture since the cubs started their meal. Then without warning, the cubs went right back to the task at hand. This time the spot seemed to be the prime target for the one cub. Laughinghontas was going insane, she was biting her lip and shaking her head back and forth frantically. The bear cub was relentless; it wasn't going to stop until ALL the honey was gone. Laughinghontas could take no more, though her arms were bent and squeezed against her sides she could still move her hands and wrists, she ban beating her fists against the inside of the tree trunk rapidly. This made a low thumping noise and it startled the bear cubs they jumped back in fear and then off in the distance they heard the Mother bear calling for them, they returned the growl and ran off into the forest.

Laughinghontas realizing that the cubs had gone let out a big sigh of relief.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaah"

Her eyes were still watery and she still was stuck in the tree trunk. She peered through the hole in the trunk and could only see the sky and the tree limbs above her. Her heart was pounding from her ordeal, she was also breathing very heavily, and this didn't make her situation any better.

"Just relax and think skinny" she said to herself

It had been a good 10 minutes since the cubs had left. She thought to herself that if she maybe let all the air out of her lungs that it might be enough to let her wiggle her way back out.

But before she could even finish her thought she heard all of the children calling for her. She again froze and prayed she wouldn't be found this way. The children were all in a close group looking all though the forest for Laughinghontas. She dared not say a word or the kids would have a tickling hay day with her.

Little did she know that a little squirrel was making its way down the tree trunk towards her feet. It wasn't intending on doing any harm, just out looking for something to eat. Laughinghontas saw a quick flash across the hole in the trunk and thought nothing of it. The squirrel made it to the end of the trunk it sat on the end facing Laughinghontas' feet rapidly flicking it's bushy tail. Just as the children were going to turn around and head back to the village, the squirrel turned and let its tail drop and flick against Laughinghontas' foot. Worst of all, it was flicking back and forth on the SPOT. This caught Laughinghontas totally off guard and she burst out with a laugh.

"BWAAAAAAAHahahaAHAHAHAHAHAHHA"

The squirrel, scared by the sound ran off into the forest, the Children stopped in their tracks and turned to see the tree trunk lying on the ground, with a strange pair of large feet sticking out of the end. They all looked at each other with the most sinister of grins.

The children gathered in a huddle and set their plan in motion. They broke up and started calling out for Laughinghontas.

"LAUGHINGHONTAS! Come out Come out where ever you are"

They all slowly made their way towards the tree trunk. Laughinghontas didn't move at all and hoped that no other creatures came along. Again the children called out.

"LAUGHINGHONTAS! Where are you?"

Laughinghontas could hear the voices getting closer, but knew the trunk was out of the way and couldn't be seen to well from the path. She crossed her fingers then she felt the trunk move a little. "Oh NO!" she thought to herself. The children had all gathered around the trunk and a couple had sat down on it.

"Where could she be?" one of them said

"I don't know, she's not around anywhere." said another one

The Children were all holding their hands over their mouths holding back the giggles. Laughinghontas was lying inside in a cold sweat, she knew the children were right there, but had they not noticed her? Everything else seemed to have noticed so far. One of the girls sat on the end of the trunk closest to Laughinghontas's feet; she took the feather out of her pigtail and pointed down to Laughinghontas's feet.

Then "Pain in the Bear" said, "I hope some hungry bear didn't eat her".

With that the little girl flicked the feather across Laughinghontas's toes, she held back a giggle by biting her lip. The little girl silently giggled as she continued flicking the feather.

Then she said, "Yeah, I hope not that would be terrible"

Laughinghontas was going nuts again, she tried to cover one foot with the other but it did no good against a good feather assault. Then one of the boys took a long blade of grass, Laughinghontas couldn't see but there was a long crack in the trunk right across where her tummy was. The little boy stuck the blade of grass down into the crack and started twirling it around. That was all it took; Laughinghontas couldn't stand anymore. She burst out laughing.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA"

The Children all giggled and one of them said.

"Hey this tree trunk is laughing!"

One of the other girls replied, "Yeah, maybe it's ticklish, hehehe"

The little girl with the feather turned and straddled the trunk and began tickling up and down Laughinghontas's feet.

She said, "Hey Look it has bare feet!"

The boy with the grass continued tickling across her tummy. Laughinghontas was in trouble and she knew it. The Children were torturing her on purpose and they knew it. They all giggled while Laughinghontas laughed helplessly.

"AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA STOP AHAHAHAHHAH STOP IT AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA"

Pain in the Bear said, "I think it is ticklish, poor thing all alone out here. It must be bored. Let's cheer it up."

The youngest girl a little 5-year-old called "little Deer eye's" knelt down facing Laughinghontas's feet. The girl with the feather stopped for a moment. Little deer eyes then took her tiny little fingers and started wiggling them up and down the soles, with and occasional "Kitchy Kitchy koo". The ten tiny fingers were like spiders running up and down her feet. The boy with the grass stopped and pulled the blade of grass out.

"Too bad Laughinghontas isn't around she'd love to tickle this poor helpless tree trunk." The boy said as he too knelt at her bare feet.

He looked down at Laughinghontas's wiggling feet and noticed the mark on her foot.

"Hey, what's this? It looks like a spot." He said

"I wonder?" He thought to himself, not really knowing what the spot did to Laughinghontas

The Boy took the feather from the girl that was still sitting on top of the tree trunk giggling. He then took the tip and started running circles around the spot. Laughinghontas suddenly stopped laughing and her eyes grew wide in horror. Then, like a clap of thunder she erupted into bursts of laughter, as the feather finally crossed the spot. Her laughter was so loud that it literally shook the tree trunk.

"AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH NOT THERE AHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA STOOOOOOOOOOOP!" she screamed

"That must be the spot that the warriors all talk about." Pain in the bear said.

"AAHAHAHAHHAHAA I'LL Get you AHHA BRAAAATS FOR THIS!!HAHAHHAHAHAHAH"

The boy kept tickling and tickling the spot and all the children giggled and laughed as Laughinghontases toes wiggled and curled. She began to pound and kick inside the tree trunk; being old the trunk couldn't take it and finally broke open. Laughinghontas just lay there laughing as the tickle sensations died down, the children all laughed as they walked back to the village. Laughinghontas having gained her composure, rolled on her side and thought, "What did I ever do to deserve this?"
