Sister Andrea was writing on the blackboard of her classroom and while her back was turned, she heard some of her students chatting away. One of the other students taunted Becky and said "You're gonna get it". Sister Andrea said "Be quiet or you'll be the next to go.....Mary Ann, please read Act II, scene IV and the rest of you, follow along with her". Once they got outside, Sister Andrea escorted Becky to Mother Superior's office and told her to sit down. They waited a few minutes for Mother Superior to return to her office. Mother Superior opened the door, saw Becky and said to Sister Andrea "What did she do this time, Sister"? Sister Andrea explained what had happened and Mother Superior said "I'll take care of this, you can go back to teaching your class". Mother Superior gave Becky a very stern look thru her thick glasses. "Young lady", she stated, "We have rules at this school. Rules are what separate the civilized society from the heathens. You will be wise to follow the rules all of your life, not just here. But as always, there are always one or two rebels in a crowd. The people who constantly break the rules just to see what they can get away with. Those people set a bad example for others, young lady, and it's my job to make sure that this school maintains a certain degree of order". Mother Superior reaches for a rather large switch and Becky, having done this routine many times before, knows what to expect and bends over. Mother Superior sees that young Becky is used to this and decides on another punishment. "Rebecca, come with me", she instructs. Becky obediently followed her to another office that contained a desk and couch. Mother Superior said "Young lady, you need to learn to follow the rules and it is my job to see that you walk the straight and narrow. This is for your own good". She commands Becky to lie down on the couch. Becky looked confused, but did what she was told and Mother Superior removed Becky's shirt and strapped her arms behind her and she removed her shoes and unbuttoned her pants and pulled them down, and bound her legs. Mother Superior said "I have tried to correct your behavior and have punished you in the past, but I guess that did not do any good. Now I am forced to try a new punishment on you. Rebecca, your punishment is for the next 30 minutes, you will be tickled, without stopping". Becky had a look of fear in her eyes and started to whimper and begged her not to. "Please don't Mother Superior, I'll be good from now on, I promise". Mother Superior said "I'm glad to hear that, child. But you must learn to take me seriously, so I have no choice but to punish you." Mother Superior picked up Becky's feet and held them in her lap, while tightening the binds, so the only movement she could make would be to wiggle her toes.
