Anybody played this game? I was looking for something to play until LA Noire comes out so I went to rent this one. Ended up buying it since it was only a few bucks more than renting it for a few days. Little less than halfway through and it's pretty good. I tend to like horror/surreal games and this is one for sure. It also has some pretty good evidence gathering/detective work (practice for LA Noire I guess lol).

It got panned by everybody. I, on the other hand, thought it was really good. I don't want to reveal any spoilers for you, but one of the problems with the game is that they revealed too much about everything at the end of the game, leaving little mystery for any possible sequels.

Did you every play the original? That was a great game. Scary as hell, too!

Never played the original.. think it was only on the PC? I read the summary on Wikipedia so I wasn't completely lost during this game.

I have the original for X-Box 360. And I'd play that one first regardless. I felt it was a much better experience, although I think the second one catches more flak than it deserved.
