maybe I can make this all a game
train my brain to forget your name
try in vain to make my calm remain
turn my thoughts off, but they turn on again

sometimes my thoughts stay ruler-straight
then something leads my thoughts astray
to ponder things like straying hands
and bodies close from night till day

I try to force my mind to hush
to believe it's plain ridiculous
that I should get the greatest rush
when reminiscing on your touch

I try to keep it to myself
not let these urges show
pretend it's not so obvious
imagine you don't know

attempt to keep my game-face on
not let you see my cards
avert my gaze so you don't see
you've got me seeing stars

Yaaaaay for disappearing and reappearing to find a Myth poem on the boards! I lurved it lady face just like I luuuuuuurve you.

As a strong woman that likes to think she can hide how bad she wants a man so as not to seem in "want", oh lordy I know what this tastes like...smells like...burns like. Great stuff as always Myth. I miss you!! I'm so happy that I got us posting our poetry in here way back whenever lol. I should put something else up here soon. Not that anyone else will read it, but knowing you and a few others I care about will...well that's all that matters.
