chatroom

Hi, for some reason when i try to go inot the chat room it says my computer has performed an illegal operation and then it shuts down. Anyone know what it might be. It does the same thing when i try to go into ticklepalace website, maybe something about "applenet initializng".

Also when i try to run an rm file i open it and it turns into a excel file with weird coding?

It sounds as if your system is having a problem with Java.

Here is a quick test. Go to any Yahoo! Club and see if you can enter the clubs chatroom. If you cannot then your system has a java issue.

Solution? You probably need to reinstall the Virtual Java program on your computer. You can get a new copy from the MS site, or the Java homepage.
