Last night when I posted the first notice about a February tickle event in DC, was a bit before the following information was received.
Looks like we're working toward a somewhat larger enterprise than even initially anticipated. Hey folks, we are sort of getting our bearings here as this is a first time event for us, surely more to come:
The 2003 Tethers 'n Feathers Nation's Capitol Ticklefest
(Tentatively set for February 2003)
Yes, TnF! The foundation has been laid for the biggest tickling
convention in the U.S., and what better place for the festivities to
commence than right here in our own back yard! TnF NCT coordinators
are requesting that ALL registered members attend the first official
Convention Committee Planning Meeting on Monday, November 18, 2002,
at the Grevey's Sports Restaurant, 8130 Arlington Blvd, Falls
Church, VA at the Gallows Rd and Rte 50 intersection.
Meeting is to be begin at 7pm, followed by Monday Night Football.
The purpose of this meeting is to start building upon the foundation
to make this a must-attend event for ticklefans from every corner of
the globe! We hav! e the abundant play space and the tentative
date, now all we need is YOU! If you are interested in seeing the
first-ever convention-style tickle gathering, then be on hand to let
us know your ideas and that you are willing to help. We need your
enthusiastic support to make this happen, so please put this meeting
time on you schedule for Monday night and make every effort to
attend. Gentlemen and Ladies, 'Lers & 'Lees, the NCT staff cannot
stress enough how pleased we are to have you help make this
monumental vision a complete reality! Please be kind enough to let
us know by rendering an RSVP to Rodney by Monday noon, if you plan
to attend, so that a space can be reserved for you. Now, lets get
things underway, with our t! ethers strapped in place and our
