Greetings from the 1st Annual North Texas Gathering Co-Coordinator. We are going to host the 1st Annual North Texas Gathering on Friday February 21, 2003. The location will be at The Sanctuary, which is a local professional dungeon, located right outside of Downtown Dallas and is right off of Stemmons Freeway (I-35 East)
The Dungeon doors will open at 9PM (2100 military time). At that time, we will go over the rules and those rules are put in place for your safety. We ask that you please abide by and follow them at all times, while at the Gathering. Those who choose not to follow the rules may be asked to leave.
The Party will be between 9pm to 2am
EVEN IF YOU HAVE ALREADY FILLED OUT A PREVIOUS SURVEY, PLEASE FILL OUT A NEW ONE AS THE LAST ONE WAS JUST “PRELIMINARY”.
Everybody who attends the Gathering will need to fill out this survey. If you are planning to bring some friends with you, they too, will each need to fill out this survey.

This is a private party and the host/hostess reserve the right to ask any person to leave if they feel that person is acting in a manner that is dangerous to himself/herself and/or others, or is acting in a manner that prohibits others in attendance from having a good time.
This party is a drug and weapon free party. Any person trying to bring weapons and/or drugs into the party will be escorted out, and if need be, the proper law enforcement authorities will be promptly notified.
The location of the party will be kept private and confidential, to be used only by those in attendance. Even after the Gathering, please refrain from publishing the location of the party. This will help ensure the privacy of those in attendance, as well as keeping away any "unwanted attention".
Some of the locations of the party many not allow you to bring a camera inside their properties. If they so allow the use of cameras, please obtain permission of person you wish to take pictures of. Some of the guests in attendance may be "camera shy".
Treat people with the respect and dignity that you would like them to show you.
Please request permission before engaging in “tickle play” with a person (especially a person you just met).
Some of the guests in attendance may be un-easy about their identity being revealed outside the party. We ask that you please respect each other's right to privacy.
Your host/hostess will not be serving alcohol at the party (this is for legal reasons). Some of the Gathering sites may be deemed as "no alcohol". But should they allow alcohol while on their properties, it will be a B.Y.O.B. event. (We will notify you on the situation before-hand). For those who smoke, there will be designated areas for you. If this will be a B.Y.O.B. event and if you do drink, we please ask that you drink within reason as intoxication is grounds for removal from the party.
Upon arrival at the Gathering location, you will be required to sign a waiver that states you have read the rules and agree to adhere to them

It was brought to my attention that some people did not agree to signing a waiver and stated they considered a required waiver as an infringement on their privacy.
We do value and respect your right to privacy and consider it to be one of our utmost concerns. We are not out to play "Big Brother" with the information contained in the waiver. But the waiver is an requirement for all who wish to join the Gathering.
The information in the waiver is "privileged information" and will be for the eyes of the host/hostess only, and at no time will we publish that information to any 3rd party. The only exception to that would be if you were to exhibit violent/destructive behavior and/or if you were to exhibit "criminal intent", while at the Gathering and we would be forced to notify the proper law enforcement authorities.
The signed waiver is a legal document that states.....
1. As our guest, you agree to follow the rules as they are listed, as well as any instructions as directed by your host/hostess.
2. You agree this is a "play at your own risk" party, and while your host/hostess do not foresee there to be any problems, they cannot be held responsible for accidents, injury, illness, ect while you are at the party.

We are living in a "lawsuit happy world" where people love nothing more than to sue anybody and everybody they can, for just about any possible reason they can conceive. Not that anybody here would ever do that, of course, but this waiver, which is a legally binding document, protects your host/hostess from such people as well as protects your host/hostess from "ambulance chasing lawyers".

Ok, here is what we have to go with so far. As some of you know, I have contacted a local dungeon near Downtown Dallas, which is off of Stemmons Freeway (I-35). They have expressed interest in hosting our Gathering. From what I have gathered on their web page, and from corresponding with their manager, they appear to be very respectable, reputable, and legit.
Also for the benefit of those who are not aware, the manager of the dungeon states that alcohol is **not** permitted on their property, so this **will not** be a BYOB event, but for those who smoke, there will be designated areas for you.
They also have a TV/VCR and stereo system for your enjoyment (I have many tickling tapes that I will bring and will raffle off a few).
It seems that Friday and Saturday will be the best days to hold The Gathering, since it seems those days are the most economical.
Party Events during Prime Sanctuary Party Hours: 9PM-2AM are $10 on Friday and $15 on Saturday, per person, for organized groups (defined as: with party coordinator, established membership list, RSVP list and 20 or greater in attendance).
So to get these special rates, we need at least 20 people to come, otherwise the standard rates of $150 for the 1st hour and $60 for each additional hour will apply.
Depending on the availability of space, the party arrangements include space for a munch in the social area before the event (from 7pm-9pm), and the group (that's us) will be responsible for providing food and drinks.
What the hosts will provide:
Full access to the social area and dungeons. Access to TV/VCR/Stereo. We will also be donating videos as "door prizes" and "raffles" as well
Now we need to discuss the rates.....
In order to assist with the costs associated with this party, unfortunately, we will need to discuss "door fees".
If you pre-register the cost will be $20.00
If you register at the door, the cost will be $30.00
All ladies will be admitted free of charge (but you still need to RSVP so we know how many people are coming)
If a gentleman arrives with a lady, the lady will be admitted free of charge and the gentleman will receive a 25% discount rate.
If you wish to pre-register, we have a special rate of $20.00 per person (that's $10.00 off) If you wish to pre-register, it must be done no later than 2 weeks prior to event.
We will have a special group rate. A "group" is defined as a party of 4 or more. Each member in a group will pay only $10 (that's a $10.00 discount per person). To obtain the group rates, we will need the names of those in your group and.
If you wish to pre-register as either an group or individual, it will need to be done no later than 11:59p on 01Feb. After that, the standard "door rates" will apply.

7. Where it says "note" enter the names of the people in your party attending as well as your email address (all info provided will be verified at the Gathering location)

There is a "no refund" policy. If you pre-register and cannot attend the party, unfortunately, we cannot offer ANY refunds.
If you are at the party and are asked to leave because of un-ruly or destructive behavior, you will receive NO REFUND.
