Character guide?

I've shared a fair number of stories here, both true and fictional. Often in my fictional stories, I use characters that are real people, many of whom I've also shared true stories about.

I got the idea the other day to create a "character guide" to my stories to post here. It would basically include a short paragraph/overview of each major character I've written about, with a description, information, facts, etc, and then links to all the stories in which that person has been featured. So that way if you like a character, you can easily read all the stories they're written about in.

I'm curious if any of you would actually enjoy this/care/be interested in it. Is this just self-involved and overindulgent? Or would you enjoy a map of the little Tickle World I've created?

Just a passing author throwing down some advice: Having written some similar types of things I think it best to keep things of this nature restricted to a blog, or if you have/get one, private sub-forum dedicated to your stuff. For the most part I don't think it'll do people a lot of good here and then it'll just get lost quickly.

I was just looking at DeviantArt and it seems like they have a platform that makes that kind of thing easy. Anyone here use that site primarily for story-sharing? Other sites?

I believe people do use deviantart for stories, at least, I thought I had seen one or two things (stories) there in the past. It's been a while since I tend to not check that place out.

However, this site does have a blog service. I keep a list of stories and links to them in mine (the blog on here that I barely use), but I'm really lazy and never update it lol. It's useful (for me) to have something like that on here, you know?

But, yes, authors use deviantart as far as I recall, though I'm not sure how widespread that practice is.
