I haven't done anything in a while, this is the first part of a multi-part story. S
Kayla was so tired sitting in her senior seminar, but it was mandated by the university to graduate. It didn't help matters that she and her friends were out late last night at the bars. Her eyes began to grow heavy and she began to drift off, her headed nodded a few times before she finally gave into sleep. When she opened her eyes again she noticed she was no longer in the classroom, she was on a remote beach somewhere. She was still wearing her white keds, jeans and white tank top, but she had no idea where she was. She began to move, any direction was as good as the other she thought. With every step she could feel the sand underneath become more and more like wet mud, and the bottom of her shoes began to get stuck with every step. Her progress was slow when after about another 10 steps, her left shoe was pulled off her foot and swallowed by the mud. Not sure what was going on Kayla didn't want to move, she was standing still with her now socked foot held in the air. Kayla knew she couldn't hold her balance like this for very long, as she was trying to think of a plan a strong breeze began to blow. Instinctive to protect herself from falling she placed her left foot back down into the mud, it wasn't cold like she had expected but it seemed to mold around the shape of her size 7 foot and hold it in place. "Well that one seems to be stuck, let see about the other one" Kayla thought out loud to no one in particular, as far as she could see she was the only one around. She began to wiggle her right foot to move it when she felt her other shoe pull off and then disappear. In frustration Kayla screamed out "noooo" as she stomped her right foot down. In doing so she was now stuck in place, the mud was up to her ankles and she could not move her feet at all. Kayla began to yell "please anyone, I can't get free" Only silence responded to her pleas. She looked above her, maybe there was something she could grab to free herself when she felt the ground begin to shake. The mud beneath her began to give and she slowly sank into the ground "Oh my god its quick sand, Please somebody helppp meeee!" Kayla Screamed.
As the ground solidified Kayla was frantic. She had sunk down the mud just past her bellybutton, her tank top had risen up and stayed above the surface. She used her hands to push against the floor but it was hard as a rock now, she couldn't move anything under the surface not even her toes. It felt like hours, but Kayla had no idea how long she had been there when she felt something wiggle against the exposed part of her stomach. "Oh my what is that!" Kayla screamed She felt another now brushing against the small of her back, they moved back and forth. Kayla wished as she had slid down that her shirt had followed, instead it bunched up above the surface leaving the lower part of her midsection bare. They felt like two furry worms now crawling along her flat belly, she began to giggle as it felt like they had hundreds of legs that now tickled as they moved across her soft skin. "Please doheheh tickle meeeahhhhhhhhhh." Kayla let out a hysterical roar as one of the crawlers discovered her belly button. Kayla was stuck with these crawlies moving around her belly, but she was glad that's all that was exposed as it was she was starting to get used to the feeling of the legs. It still tickled but she was beginning to regain her composure, until she felt a pull on her right sock just underneath her big toe.
The way the sound had solidified she couldn't move a muscle under the surface, so when she felt the bugs eating holes into both her socks she started to get very worried. She felt them climb in just under her toes and some by her heel, her eyes were already screwed shut waiting for the worst when she felt the first set of insect legs began walking around. It was worse then she had anticipated. Her feet were the most ticklish part of her body, the insects tiny legs shuffled and tickled every inch of her immobile soles. "Ehhhhh hahhahaah" Kayla's screams echoed among the trees, but the tickle bugs kept swarming all over her feet. One of the bugs started twisting itself in between all five of her right toes. "Please not my toesssssahahahahaha" Kayla screamed as the bug began tickling her tiny digits. Its body was furry and tickled her toes, while it wiggled its legs without moving anywhere to tickle in between her toes and the top of her soles. Kayla was stuck in ticklish agony, her eyes were closed shut and her mouth was screwed open but nothing was coming out as she was stuck in silent laughter.
It was unstoppable torture for Kayla when she heard "hey, Kayla, Kayla." When she opened her eyes she was still in class, one of her friends had their hand on her shoulder. She looked around the room everyone was gathering her things, and she looked up to her friend and said "I must have dozed off."
The rest of the day Kayla was fixated on her dream, tickling was torture for her she was terribly ticklish and the dream was so real. "It was a dream though that's all" she said reassuring herself as she walked through her apartment door. Kayla walked into her room kicked her shoes off and jumped onto her bed, when something strange caught her eye. She look straight ahead into the mirror starring at her socks, she didn't believe what she saw. When she pulled her feet closer to her she was three little holes on each sock, just big enough for a small insect to crawl through.
