milagros317
08-29-2005, 10:24 PM
Fortunately, THE THREAD laid in a huge supply of it. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-29-2005, 10:37 PM
Always good to be well prepared. :D :D :p :p

milagros317
08-30-2005, 01:55 PM
THE THREAD is certainly prepared, and a fine host to us all here. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-30-2005, 06:14 PM
and cuddly and wuvable too. :D :D :p

milagros317

Yes, we must not forget that he is wuvable. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 06:14 PM
THE THREAD has finished building the communication device so that we might talk to the Netherials. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 06:23 PM
Excellent. I wonder what they have to say to us. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 06:33 PM
He is trying the device out now. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 06:52 PM
I'm sure it will function as intended. THE THREAD always builds things well. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 06:59 PM
The first communications are coming in now.....

milagros317
08-31-2005, 07:12 PM
We're waiting anxiously to hear them. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 07:27 PM
*first commmnications comming in*

communications lost.

THE THREAD: Lost them for now kurch I will try to restablish communications. I think I should run some tests the fabric of space here seems very troubling.

:D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 07:43 PM
We must help them if we can. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 07:46 PM
Yes milagros we will help them. :D Seems like space and time here is falling apart. I am guessing this is part of the thier problem. THE THREAD is analysing the situation now. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 07:47 PM
THE THREAD is very good at analysis. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 07:57 PM
Yes he is. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 08:14 PM
Is it hard to repair the fabric of space-time? :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 08:22 PM
THE THREAD is very good at it now. He helps HDS with the repairs of the cosmos all the time now. :D :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 08:48 PM
Of course, HDS is a great master of that kind of repair. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 08:58 PM
Yes indeed he is. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 08:59 PM
It's a shame that HDS is not with us now.:D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:11 PM
Yeah its always great to have him around. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:18 PM
Maybe HDS will show up soon. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:23 PM
Ya never know. LOL :D :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:25 PM
His comings and goings are unpredictable, so we indeed never know if HDS will show up. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:30 PM
Yes he is a very busy most of the time. Running the cosmos is time consuming. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:33 PM
I didn't realize that HDS was the one doing that. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:34 PM
Well me THE THREAD and THE POST help out a lot now so he gets a bit more of a breather. :D :D and the Pletherians help out a lot too. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:36 PM
It's a big job, so it's good that HDS has some help. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:42 PM
Yes indeed it is. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:44 PM
I hope THE THREAD gets communication reestablished soon. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:46 PM
The device is back up. Currently he is analyzing the fabric of space to see what the problems might be. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:49 PM
I should learn to be patient when THE THREAD is on the job. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 09:51 PM
THE THREAD says the space time contuinuum is in dire need of repair here. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 09:54 PM
Then repairs should be started soon. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 10:00 PM
THE THREAD is reparing what he can right now. This will help stabilize communications with the Netherials but we will need to talk to them again to understand completely what needs to be done. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 10:03 PM
I am curious as to what they have to report. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 10:07 PM
Well these repairs will take most of the night. THE THREAD needs to be careful otherwise the realm could collpase into nothingness. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 10:08 PM
I can see why he wants to be very careful. :D :p
I will be patient. :D :p

kurchatovium
08-31-2005, 10:12 PM
Collapsing into nothingness is rarely a good thing. :D :D :p

milagros317
08-31-2005, 10:14 PM
I wish to avoid it, actually. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 06:15 PM
Sounds like a good plan to me. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 06:36 PM
That's because it is a very good plan. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:00 PM
One I am certain everyone whole heartedly agrees with. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 07:06 PM
How is THE THREAD doing with the repairs? :D

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:09 PM
The initial repairs are al done. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 07:10 PM
That sounds like excellent progress. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:13 PM
yes very good I think. We are now trying to reestablish communication with the Netherials. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 07:19 PM
Excellent news, I am interested in what they have to say. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:34 PM
*communications restablished*

milagros317
09-01-2005, 07:44 PM
We must find that Orb as soon as we can. :D

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:49 PM
Yes we will try to locate it as quickly as possible. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 07:56 PM
Do we know what it looks like? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 07:59 PM
THE THREAD is researching it know. Hopefully he will find some info. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:06 PM
I am confident that THE THREAD will succeed in finding out. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 08:09 PM
He is currently consulting The Very Very Big Book Of Important Stuff In The Cosmos :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:13 PM
I wonder how many pages there are in that book. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 08:15 PM
Well technically in 3 dimensions they are an infinite number pages. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:20 PM
I was afraid of that. I trust that THE THREAD reads very fast. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 08:32 PM
Yes very^99 fast. :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:34 PM
That is fortunate. Maybe he will find something about the Orb in that book soon. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 08:37 PM
Hopefully he is only on page 2858321848586868483828348568483828384488383848559 so far though. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:46 PM
That is rather quick reading. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 08:53 PM
THE THREAD is very^99 fast. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 08:56 PM
It helps that he is hyperdimensional. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 09:01 PM
Your hyperdimensionality level has to be at least a 100 to even look at the book. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 09:02 PM
I see that the book would be of no use at all to me. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 09:06 PM
Well it makes a great paperweight too. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 09:06 PM
Well, I can always use a good paperweight. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 09:15 PM
the book weighs 437 pounds so it should work well as a paperweight. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 09:34 PM
Most certainly would. It might collapse my desk, however. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 09:59 PM
The papers would not fly away though. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 10:00 PM
No, they wouldn't. The crushed desk and papers would stay put. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 10:03 PM
Even the crushed desk would not move. Is that a good paperweight or what? :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 10:05 PM
A truly fine paperweight, yes. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 10:14 PM
Maybe KTT could manufanture 437 pound book shaped paperweights. Or should we make them a bit lighter? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 10:17 PM
I think 7 pounds would be sufficient for most people. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-01-2005, 10:20 PM
You sure what if a really strong breeze came up? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-01-2005, 10:27 PM
I think 7 pounds would be sufficient, even in a strong breeze. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 06:26 PM
So 437 pound would be too much in your opinion? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 07:16 PM
IMHO, yes, by about a margin of 430 pounds. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 07:32 PM
So then lets say a super paperweight of lets say 29,437 pounds would have a very limited market then? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 07:50 PM
Virtually no market at all on the planet earth. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 07:56 PM
I think we will just stick with the 7 pound one then. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 07:58 PM
You will have more sales that way, at least on earth. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:02 PM
Well the earth store could use lots of business. Hehehe ;) :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:04 PM
Lots of paperweights are needed. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:19 PM
Hopefully. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:21 PM
Hopefully, many will be purchased. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:23 PM
What should we charge? maybe a 1000 dollars each? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:27 PM
That's a bit high for a paperweight. Maybe $10 instead. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:35 PM
Well I guess i should make them out of something cheaper than pure Emerald then if I only charge 10 dollars. :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:40 PM
Good idea, pure emerald is just too expensive. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:42 PM
Maybe just steel then. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:44 PM
Steel would be a wise choice. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:49 PM
I think I will leave out the platinum inlays too. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:51 PM
Good thinking, the platinum is quite expensive. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 08:53 PM
No diamond encrusted sides either. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 08:58 PM
It would be wise to leave out the diamonds. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:02 PM
Rubys too I think. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:04 PM
Best to leave off all of the gemstones. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:07 PM
Speaking of gems, THE THREAD has located where the Orb Of Prime Origin is, its on a planet made of pure sapphire and ruby. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:15 PM
Great news! Will we be going there soon? :D :p

drew70
09-02-2005, 09:20 PM
Cool if I tag along? :bouncybou

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:25 PM
Yes we must go there quickly before space and time begin to fall appart again here.

(you are welcome to come along drew70 :p )

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:30 PM
OK, I will have all my ships ready to move out. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:32 PM
Excellent. If we can find this orb THE THREAD can finish the repairs to this realm. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:38 PM
Let's hope we can do it all in time. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:44 PM
I hope so I would rather not be crushed into nothingness. :D :D

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:45 PM
My ships are now ready for departure. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:46 PM
Fantastic news. Lets depart then. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:48 PM
Away we go, seeking the Orb. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:50 PM
The planet should be easy to locate being a big bright blue and red gem and all. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:52 PM
I'm sure THE THREAD will guide us there quickly. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:56 PM
We have the coordinates transmitting them to you now.

*transmits coordinates to milagros's shiips* :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 09:57 PM
We are on our way now. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 09:59 PM
Great should not take us too long. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-02-2005, 10:00 PM
Not long at all. No time to even have an ice cream. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 10:01 PM
We have time for a quick ice cream. :p :p :D :D

milagros317
09-02-2005, 10:02 PM
OK, a really quick ice cream, then. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-02-2005, 10:06 PM
Sounds good to me. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 07:45 AM
What an incredible sight this gemstone planet is! :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 06:12 PM
Yes it should be even more spectacular when the planet's sun shines through it. Truely a miraculous sight. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:09 PM
It is amazing, but too big to fit on a ring. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 08:19 PM
Pretty cool sight though hey. :D :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:22 PM
Yes, I'm saving some pictures of it. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 08:23 PM
Well lets send out a battalion of scouts with scanners to see if we can find this Orb. :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:28 PM
Great idea! :D :p
There go the scouts.
<marquee> :atom: :atom: :atom: </marquee>

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 08:39 PM
Excellent. Thanks. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:41 PM
Our atomic scouts are very reliable. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 08:43 PM
Very^99 reliable indeed. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:45 PM
While they're looking for the Orb, I will have some ice cream. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 08:50 PM
That sounds like a good ideal. :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 08:52 PM
* puts 5 scoops of ice cream and 9 cookies in a big bowl, pours lots of chocolate syrup on top, adds whipped cream and sprinkles, and then devours it all * :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 09:06 PM
*decides to just have a bowl of chocolate ice cream with chocolate syrup and chocolate sprinklies.*

milagros317
09-03-2005, 09:20 PM
That was delicious. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 09:34 PM
Yes indeed it was. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 09:47 PM
Now we have to wait for the scouts to return. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 09:56 PM
its a big planet might take awhile. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 10:00 PM
Just how big is the planet? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 10:04 PM
About ten times the size of Earth. :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 10:06 PM
Pretty big, but much smaller than Jupiter. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 10:08 PM
Yes still much smaller than Jupiter. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 10:13 PM
I hope they find the Orb soon, before I go to sleep. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 10:14 PM
Is a big planet and the atoms are very small. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 10:17 PM
Maybe by tomorrow morning then. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-03-2005, 10:20 PM
Most definetly. The atomic scouts are very thourough. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-03-2005, 10:23 PM
OK, I will leave orders to wake me up if they come back during the night. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 06:59 PM
Good news the scouts found the Orb but it appears to be in a large structure that is guarded by a large Beholder. :D :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 07:30 PM
And what kind of being is a Beholder? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 07:53 PM
A Beholder is a Giant Eye essentially that can cast very powerful magic spells to assist it in its mission which is usually guarding some place or item. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 07:56 PM
I see. What is the best way to deal with a Beholder? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 08:23 PM
Welcome to the thread Cabana. This thread is now self medicationg :p

Milagros I think the best way to deal with uncooperative Beholder is to destroy it. :D :D

milagros317
09-04-2005, 08:24 PM
OK, I will get my troops ready to do battle, and the magicians ready to cast their spells. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 08:27 PM
Well lets see if he is a friendly Beholder first. We may be able to reason with it. :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 08:31 PM
OK, but we will be prepared just in case he's not friendly. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 08:36 PM
Yeah I think I will have the scouts observe him a bit. Maybe we can get some clues on his behavior. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 08:38 PM
We would prefer no battle if not necessary. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 08:50 PM
Me too. :D :D :p We might potentially lose some of our jammies. :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 08:51 PM
That would be very tragic. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 08:57 PM
Yeah cause I have some really nice jammies now. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 09:00 PM
We all stocked up on them for this expedtion. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 09:01 PM
Even the nice soft cotton ones? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 09:02 PM
Including soft cotton ones, yes. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 09:06 PM
Excellent planning milagros. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 09:14 PM
I try to be an organized and efficient officer on this venture. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 09:29 PM
MAybe you are due for a promotion. Whats your rank now? :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 09:31 PM
Colonel, actually. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 09:42 PM
Well congratulations you are now a Lieutenant General. :D :D :p

suprticklishgrl
09-04-2005, 09:46 PM
i went back and the 1st post in this thread, and noticed that it was dated 2002. WOW, what an accomplished thread. it deserves an award. :D

milagros317
09-04-2005, 09:49 PM
Well congratulations you are now a Lieutenant General. :D :D :p

Oh, I am deeply honored, thank you so much. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 10:03 PM
I think the Lt. General gets a new set of jammies too. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 10:09 PM
That is even better. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 10:13 PM
And a new uniform too. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 10:15 PM
Better and better still. This is a wonderful day. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 10:17 PM
Congratulations. You have earned it. *salutes milagros* :D :D :p :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 10:23 PM
Thank you. *salutes back* :D :p

kurchatovium
09-04-2005, 10:24 PM
Maybe we can celebrate your promotion with some ice cream. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-04-2005, 10:25 PM
That sounds like a fine idea. :D :p

General Zod
09-05-2005, 09:21 AM
Congratulations on your promotion Milagros I am sorry I was away for awhile I bought plenty of chocolate ice cream :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 09:23 AM
Thank you, General Zod. :D :p *takes chocolate ice cream*

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 06:28 PM
Hey thanks for the ice cream gen.zod. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 06:32 PM
Just what we needed while we're waiting. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 06:36 PM
Congratulations again Lt. General Milagros. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 06:37 PM
Thank you. :D :p
Any word yet on whether the Beholder is a friendly Beholder?

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 06:42 PM
Well the atomic scouts reported a small alien creature (something akin to a small dog) coing up to the Bheolder and being vaporized. So I am thinking it is not very friendly. Just my thoughts though. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 06:52 PM
That seems quite unfriendly, unfortunately. :dog: <== vaporized
:D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 06:53 PM
I agree. I think the cute little doggie like alien would have agreed as well. :dog: :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 06:55 PM
Alas, I will get my troops ready for battle, which now seems more likely. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 06:57 PM
The atomic scouts got a picture of the Beholder. We are running it thru the datbase to see if anything turns up. :D :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 06:58 PM
Is that a large data base we have? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 07:12 PM
Very^99 large. :p :p :D :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 07:13 PM
I see. Is it a hyperdimensional data base with infinitely many entries? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 07:23 PM
Yes on a hyperdimensional computer too. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 07:24 PM
Can I presume that it is a fast computer? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 07:50 PM
Well it would be faster if it was not running Windows. :D :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 07:51 PM
Installing Windows was a big mistake. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 07:56 PM
Even we sometimes have to keep microsoft happy. :p :D :D LOL

milagros317
09-05-2005, 07:58 PM
I understand, Microsoft is a large and powerful empire. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 08:08 PM
We hope to change operating systems soon. :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 08:10 PM
Just don't tell Bill Gates about it. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 08:45 PM
We wont. He largely unaware of things that happen in other universes. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 08:49 PM
That is very fortunate. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 09:12 PM
He sticks primarily ot Earth. LOL :p :D :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 09:15 PM
I guess that proves he doesn't have wide vision. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 09:43 PM
Or at the very least is not hyperdimensional. :D :p :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 09:46 PM
No, Bill is certainly not hyperdimensional. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 09:50 PM
That is most likely a good thing. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 09:55 PM
Yes, he is frightening enough as he is. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 10:04 PM
Yes and thats with only 3 dimensions. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 10:07 PM
Let's hope he stays only 3 dimensional. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 10:12 PM
I dont think that will be a problem. :p :p :D :D

milagros317
09-05-2005, 10:16 PM
Likely not, he is set in his ways as a 3 dimensional being. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 10:18 PM
Yes indeed. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-05-2005, 10:29 PM
How is the research going about the Beholder? :D :p

kurchatovium
09-05-2005, 10:51 PM
We know now the Beholder's name is Baaaalk. He use to be a guard for Satan's lair. So its safe to assume he is very evil. :D :D :D :p

milagros317
09-06-2005, 12:11 PM
OK, that means I will prepare for a battle after all. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-06-2005, 06:38 PM
Yes I think we must. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-06-2005, 07:14 PM
The Beholder will meet the same fate as the demons. :D :p

kurchatovium
09-06-2005, 07:55 PM
Yes indeed. :D :D :p

milagros317
09-06-2005, 08:02 PM
Because we are a battle-tested force, and all fighting for wuv. :D :p
