Deviant Art tanks all photos and pictures produced as art. You can even submit poetry and music I think. The deviant refers to the wide range of things that can be art I think. :D :D :p

Yes its a pretty neat program. It can generate everything from flowers to galaxies. So its pretty wide open :D :D :p

I could try to make a motorcyclye might look pretty freaky though. LOL Probably regular 3d programs would be better at that. This program is designed to make more fractal like images galaxies, clouds, trees, mountains. Regular 3d programs handle boolean type objects (things made of discrete shapes like cubes, cylinders, etc) like cars and ships better.

Yea might be really cool to make a "Space Chopper". :D Actually thats the great thing about 3d art you can make things as freaky as you can think. I have made trees with ruby leaves. Or flowers with solid gold petals. Anything is possible :D

Render is the term used when a 3d Art program actually computes the image of a scene for saving.

It can. One renders still images or video. Video takes a lot more of course.
Things with lots of reflections and refractions in them take more time. Because the computer has to calculate where all the light beams are bouncing off. :D :D :p

Yea I notced that too. Its cheaper to buy a new printer then to cartridges for your old one. LOL. Now see thats an are where you could keep enviroment healthier. Make ink cartridges cheap so people dont keep trashing their printers. :idunno:

Many years ago, when I was a kid, Gillette used to almost give away razors so that they could sell the overpriced blades forever to the guy who got the almost free razor. I have the feeling it's the same trick with printers and ink cartridges. :D :p
