Yea thats the mistake most 3d artists make many times making thing look real by putting in a few dents, or a little rust, or a smudge here or there. Really adds to the realism when you do that.

Pretty good. I have some neat Portal like pics I am doing again. I love those. They are rather invovled I need to do 3 or 4 rneders for textures before I can do the main render for the picture itself. Then I usually touch up in postprocessing. So getting to the final product can be a bit involved. :D

I had coffee (iced) this morning, and then got ready for a get together at my friend's house. It was from 2-5:30. Then I came home and took a shower and a nap.
It was raining here, so all my friends with children were stuck in the house, and chaos ensued. Bwhahahahaha. The kids range from 2 to 15. There were 13 people there, and it was LOUD. :D :D :D :D

Kurchieeee, :D
What does that mean? :p
A 3d scene consists of
A) Objects IE sphere, cubes, chairs, boats etc.
B) Textures for those objects IE diamond, rock, stone, steel, etc
C) Lightong arrangments IE sunlight, spotlight or point lights
When all those things are set the computer can then compute what the image will look like. That computation is commonly called a render.

Well I feel marijuana was made illegal mainly because of it hallucenogenic properties. Seems that really scared the bejesus out of state officials.
Cigarettes have sorta been a popular target as of late but have not been made illegal because of the revenuse gained from taxes. It sort of ironic to me you try to tax people out of using something rather then just banning it outright.
Alcohol is just to popular (especially among politicians :p) I think for officials to touch it. Prohibition failed I think largely for that reason.

I did not realize your brother was 63. Technically, it's possible that she COULD be 81. Scientifically, and from a mating standpoint, she could be younger than 88.

Sure, people have babies before 18, too. My brother was born exactly 9 months after my father got home from World War II. So in their case they had to wait to start a family until he got home (from Tokyo with General MacArthur).
Train fare is $184 round trip with advance purchase. I have to take a taxi from the train station but fortunately it is a short ride. :D :p

The Acela Express has more comfortable, larger seats, electrical outlets at each seat to plug in your laptop or cellphone recharger, and it runs faster cutting half an hour off a trip that usually takes 2 hours and 40 minutes.
I've only taken the Acela Express when the university was paying for me to attend a conference in Washington. :D :p
That does sound nicer. Not sure its worth 300 though. :D :D :p

Has anyone looked at the price of airfare lately?
I was going to take a trip this summer, but it won't be in an airplane. OMG.
:devilish::devilish::devilish:
My cousin was a pilot for awhile. So we flew to a bunch of places in California. Was very nice. I like flying its very serene. :)

Besides airfares being high, most airlines consolidate flights to have them all full.

Thats why I only flew frequently while my cousin was a pilot. Much more fun to fly privately from Van Nuys Airport then from the mess at LAX. :p

Do you guys think that LAX is the worst airport in the US? I think Boston is the most expensive to fly in and out of.

I basically took a bus to LAX every day for the last 5 years and then caught another bus from there to get to work. So while I would say it is very congested I dont think its the worse airport.

I haven't flow to Logan in Boston in many, many years. It's rated higher than I expected:

Mils always provides me with the best education!
For the amount of money airlines charge for tickets into BOS, I would think the airport would be better.

Its mainly for private planes not commercial ones so its a lot less congested. It actually is pretty nice as far as airports go. :)
