The last painkillers I had were codeine pills after oral surgery. No side effects that I can remember.

Thank you for that :ty: I dont really have much choice at this point. I cant get a regular job even if I wanted to cause mom and dad cant really be on their own though they wont admit it. Just have to find a way to make it work. :)

I could not afford to go to work and pay for one for my folks, especially with what they pay chemists. :p One of my aunts has dementia, she is lucky to have a son to give her 24/7 care. Their house is in reverse mortgage so that helps them money wise. It might be good for your mom to look into the reverse mortgage thing to help fund her care. I am sorry :sorry: she has dementia it is a very devasting illness. :(
