During the next week long road trip, the PR department worked feverishly contacting prominent stars and their agents to see who would be willing to participate for charity. Several stars who were not on the team agreed to participate. Then, to stimulate fan interest even further, the Good Guys contacted the next opponent to see if they would be willing to squeeze three games of the following upcoming four game series, which was with the Cardinals, into an all night tripleheader to both keep fans at the park for charity all night, and do something new that no baseball team had ever done. The Cardinals agreed, on the condition that the Good Guys contribute 25 percent of the money raised to the Cardinals charities. The Good Guys agreed to this, and the terms were all worked out. The first game would start at 7pm on a Friday, with three games played that night, Thursday and Saturday off to allow the teams to rest. and the regular 1pm game on Sunday. Assuming the usual 2 1-2 to three hour standard game with no extra innings or rain delays, with about 20 minutes rest time between each game, the proceedings were to take a total of about 10 to 11 hours, and would be over at sunrise the following morning, at which time the team would offer breakfast to the fans who had spent the night at the ballgame.

Fans lined up in droves, as Amy, who had sang her song earlier that night, then became one of the featured celebrity lees. To make things interesting, Phil and Amy agreed that Phil could be her tickler, with Phil quipping to the media:"Oh, I'm going to enjoy this, tickling a beautiful American starlet like Amy" Once Amy was tied, Phil began the tickle on Amy's neck as she began to writhe around, and the crowd who had paid 5 dollars each to see the proceedings was being entertained: Hehehehehehehehehe! After Game 2, also won by the Good Guys 5 to 2 with stellar relief this time from Mandy Moore, Goldie Hawn, whose daughter Kate of course played for the team, was one of the featured celebrity guests in the tickling booth. Although it was nearly 2am by that time, everyone was still doing fine in the crowd of 50,000 who showed up that night, as even Kate Hudson and a few members of the team who wouldnt be needed in Game 3 lined up to see her mom get tickled. "I dont enjoy being tickled, but it's for charity, and I wanted to do something to help my daughter and her team out other than just write a check out" Goldie said to the media covering the event. "You're a good sport and I love you, mom" Kate said as Goldie was tied to the bed. Goldie's tickler would be one of her long time co stars, Chevy Chase. Fans were paying 5 dollars a pop to not only tickle the celebrities, but see one celebrity tickle another. "Now we've known each other a long time, Chevy, with all those movies we did, so you be nice to me" Goldie said to Chevy. The Good Guys capped a perfect night of baseball with a 6-3 win in Game 3, with an 8th inning homerun at about 5 in the morning, as the sun was coming up, the winning blow. Although everyone was tired, there had to be one more featured celebrity tickling guest after Game 3 to complete the night. This guest was singer Vanessa Carleton. They tied Vanessa to the bed, and her featured celebrity tickler would be Justin Timberlake from N' Sync. Justin and Vanessa couldnt help giggling a bit at the situation, but it was Vanessa who was giggling most as Justin began the tickle on her underarms, causing her to thrash: Hehehehehehehehehe! NO! Next, Justin moved down, tickling Vanessa on her sides and underarms as more thrashing commenced:Hehehehehehehe! NO! NO! Going down her body, Justin tickled Vanessa on her inner thighs as she bucked. Then, down to Vanesssa's feet. Justin picked up Vanessa's bare foot, and first tickled in with fingers as she began to squeal: Hehehehehehehehehehehehehe! NO! Then, he pulled out all the stops, tickling the attractive singer with fingers, feathers, and electric toothbrushes on her soles and toes as she went beserk: Hehehehehehehehehehehehhee! NO Justin that tickles so much! NO! NO! NO! Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehe! Finally, with that tickle, the night of baseball and tickles was over. It had been a great success, raising a quarter million dollars for charity, as most fans went to the booth to see the celebrities get tickled. The Good Guys had themselves intentionally stayed out of it because they had a lot of baseball to play that night, and had already been the feature at games that year. That night, they wanted the focus to be on their baseball playing and charity organization instead of on their reputation as ticklers. The night was perfect, they had won all three games, delighted the crowd in every way, the weather had been great, and they had done something no team had ever done before in playing an all night tripleheader. At 6 in the morning in the clubhouse after the game, with the celebrities still milling around, the team gathered with the celebs and some of their fans to thank everyone for participating and being good sports with the tickling, and marveled at how much of a success the night had been financially.
