The Cardinals would conclude the homestand. A loss on Friday night was followed by another one on Saturday. With a rare Sunday night game, Hudson having had 3 and a half days rest, and an off day Monday to fly to Pittsburgh, Sniderman gave her the ball on Sunday hoping to conclude the homestand on a good note. She was in a pitching duel for 7 innings, but Mitch hit a timely homerun in the 7th, the relief in the 8th was good, and a rested Mandy blew the Cards away in the 9th for a 5-2 win which concluded an indifferent homestand on a high note. In the meantime, Naomi had recovered from her childbirth, and began coming back to watch the Good Guys play.
