The Good Guys completed their homestand, and then went back on the road to begin June. They had a very difficult 2 and 7 road trip to New York, Atlanta, and Houston, and just couldnt seem to stop running in place. Clearly, Mitch was becoming distracted on the road, and was missing Naomi and the children more and more. He had always loved the road, but now, with Naomi retired and her at home with the three children, the road was just a lonely, depressing place for him. It got to the point where Mitch would call Naomi every night after the game when on the road, and they would have hot conversations about what they would be doing if she were there. His performance on the field was suffering as well, as he was tearing the cover off the ball at home, and virtually non existent on the road. Mitch still loved the game, but many asked him, if he was suffering so much without his family, why not retire? He wasnt about to do that. Also, with the summer coming and the kids out of school, the family would accompany him on certain trips that summer.
The team returned to Paradise in the second week of June. Being home seemed to infuse energy into them, and into Mitch, who loved the idea of sleeping with Naomi and being able to have sex with her on a regular basis while at home. The Good Guys won 2 of 3 in the first series against Montreal, and then split two games with Philadelphia. On Father's day, in front of a standing room only crowd of over 55,000 on a beautiful Sunday, Kate Hudson took to the hill to attempt to continue the Good Guys upward climb. Her parents, actor Kurt Russell and actress Goldie Hawn were in attendance, and everyone looked forward to a solid game on a nice afternoon. Kate, unfortunately, did not have her "Good Stuff" that day, and was hit for nine runs in less than three innings, as the Good Guys got embarrassed, 11 to 2, and Kate left the mound in the third after an eight run inning to a chorus of boos. The team was humiliated, as they were trying to rebound from their early season woes, and had such a poor performance in front of a sellout crowd with their ace on the mound. Things didnt get any better the next night. Alicia Silverstone left her start in the 7th inning with a 4-0 lead, but Mandy Moore coughed up the lead during a five run 9th inning, resulting in another Good Guy loss and another booing crowd, this time by about 25,000 gathered on a steamy Monday evening. Fortunately, the team rebounded in the final two games, winning Tuesday night on a homerun by Mitch in the 8th, and getting a solid pitching performance on Wednesday afternoon in front of a matinee crowd of over 30,000, culminating in another Good Guy win.
In the meantime, during the weekend, much of the team was being visited by their parents due to father's day. While Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell were by this time well aware of the team's tickling and tickle fetish, their daughter, Kate Hudson, had not yet introduced them to the second part of the tickle obsession, the fetish club. That Saturday night after the game, much of the team, as well as Goldie and Kurt, made their way to the club. When the actors entered the establishment, Kate explained the situation to her parents of the club's purpose as a tickle fetish gathering place, and how the team had a silent ownership and PR deal with them. Being the open minded parents they were, Goldie and Kurt were very understanding. Among the featured celebrity guests that night were hotel heiress sisters Paris and Nikki Hilton. Finally, to the hoots and hollers of the customers in the club, and even the surprise of some of the dancers, the wealthy sisters agreed to be tickled in the club's private tickling room, and have it shown in the main room on TV monitors. Naomi, who was slightly intoxicated, was not thrilled about the idea of her husband tickling two gorgeous and flirtatious rich sisters, but Mitch brushed it off to jealously.
After retiring to the back room with male members of the Good Guy team, the beautiful sisters undressed to just panties without bras, and were tied hands and feet to a king size bed that had been brought into the room. After the sisters were secured, the music was lowered to a great degree in the club, so the sisters laughter could be broadcast over the loudspeakers.
