I'm still waiting for them to wise up and come out with a Tickle Me Britney Spears or Mandy Moore doll. Now that I'd buy . . . and promptly seek professional help afterwards.

This just reminded me of a crazy little skit I saw years ago. It was made with a whole buch of toys( barbie dolls, teenage mutant ninja turtles ect...) and it aired on some late night comedy show. Anyway the point of interest to like minded people here has to do with tickling. The Barbie doll was held down in a chair by one of the turtle toys (the frog guy) and her leg was held outstretched by the crocodile guy and her bare foot was tickled with a little feather. She was being tickle tortured for information, I think, but I can't recall. Barbie then retaliated with a shotgun and later the skit ended with her going to the electric chair.

Hey, I remember that Barbie short, and I thought I was the only one who did. All I can really recall is this: It was aired as part of an ABC special showcasing short student films from around the world. Alyssa Milano was one of the hosts, and this particular short (I think from NYU, but I could be way off - it's been years) followed Barbie's marriage to Ken, and how quickly it went south. The tickling scene occurs when Ken has his rowdy friends over, and they begin to harass all of Barbie's pals. Various other action figures are used, and I think Skipper was the one being held down by a crocodile while a ninja turtle tickled her feet.

I've been hunting forever for a short film compilation that might have this one, but chances are it was a one shot deal. Unless the director was successful at some smaller festivals.

All you need to do is combine the technology used in that doll with something from www.realdoll.com (http://www.realdoll.com) and you're set.

Call me crazy if u want, but i just saw that doll comercial this evening and 4 some bizare reason i got a LITTLE turned on! I just wish the doll was a little more "mature" looking. But is was kinda cute seeing the interactions between the doll and the girls playing with it, saying things like: "Find out where i'm ticklish, and i'll tell u a secret", "That doesn't tickle", "Try her feet!", and "Hee hee! Okay, i'll tell".

For those of you who want to know about this, the company has it's own website. The name of the doll is "Tickle Secrets Baby" and the company is Spinmaster. Go to www.spinmaster.com to find out all about it, and see the commercial for it.
