I got an email but I'm paranoid of virus': it's subject line reads: "info request" so if it's somebody here (it would be no other!), please resend me an email with maybe a different subject line! Sorry about the paranoia....but I don't want to lose what's on my hard drive!!!!

What in the blue hell is a Twinkiemn. Is that your rank after you've eaten 1000 twinkies?

nontkl, I have been getting various emails from various persons, all saying: 'I sent you this to have your advice' over the last few weeks.
Just don't open the attachments, and you're quite safe. If in doubt, reply to the e-mail, asking for specifics. In all such cases, the 'sender' knew nothing about an e-mail to me; they've been victims of e-mail worms themselves.

Those posts asking for advice are a virus. No questions. It's one that grabs addresses from e-mail books and replicates using the e-mail headings of recently sent posts.
The forums public e-mail got about a dozen of them a day when the virus as it's top level.
Delete on site. The attachment is always about 200 to 230k
