the other woman - bailey; she was attractive, no?

Most radio folks always vote for Bailey. Sure, Jennifer was hot, but you never had a shot with her. Now Bailey? You knew that if you took her out for a brew and a good time, you just...might...have...a chance...or maybe that was just hopeful thinking:)

Though all the guys went nuts for Joanie or Pinky Tuscadero, I always wanted Jenny Piccolo. What a little horn-dog she was.....

"We are no longer friends, Norton. I don't want to see you, I don't want to talk to you. When you see me on the street, move to the other side."

"Oh yeah? When you walk down the street, there AIN'T no other side!"

The Honeymooners- Thanks Knox, I love that line.

All in the Family especially the episodes with Rob Reiner so they can have a nice hot political debate at the dinner table.

Happy Days

A few years ago in the mornings during the week, there was one show I used to watch religiously during prime time in the 70's and 80's. Does anybody remember "The White Shadow"?

Tuesday's at 8:00 I belive. I always liked it because it addressed current issues that were going on and how they would deal with it in a more realistic way than "Leave it to Beaver" or "The Brady Bunch".

I Love Lucy and Dick van Dyke - - my mom andI used to watch those shows at from 9-10am on channel 11 every weekday morning before I went to preschool.

Also, Carol Burnett and Friends. I did a flip when I found out TV Land was gonna start syndicating those again. Whee!

I saw that Fantasy Island thing for the first time a few weeks ago, very late at night with my friend Kyle. THAT is the WEIRDEST show I've EVER seen in my LIFE. I'd imagine it would be quite the thing to watch drunky. I had no idea what was going on, and was thoroughly creeped out. It was the episode where the guy gets put in a harem, and the girl is being sacrificed to some goat thing. Wha??

WKRP was a great show! I loved how Les Nessman used to mispronounce people's names during his newscasts ("Chy Chy Rodrigweez")...and those hideously ugly suits Herb used to wear. I work in a car dealership, so I'm surrounded by many Herb Tarliks. One of them came up the other day, and I complimented him on his tie. He told me that it was for sale. I then asked him if they were offering a factory rebate.
Giantfan, I am one huge "Honeymooners" fan. Have been all my life. Talk about watching things over and over! I can recite whole swatches of dialogue, and usually do when I'm having a conversation about it with someone. I never, ever get tired of seeing the original thirty nine, and I find myself waiting for certain moments to occur. My wife says it's because I'm nuts.

So do I, Knox. Love the Honeymooners. Ralph Cramden reminds me so much of my father. Then again, so does Archie Bunker. Ahhh, those were the days!

Another show I just thought of was Gomer Pyle, USMC. that show used to send me in hysterics b/c of it's irony. I mean gomer would always come out on top and he was the least likely to do so. I think every military unit has a Gomer but that person is always the one who winds up being the guest of honor of a blanket party.
