The Good Guys embarked on their second road trip of the year. They won two of three in Pittsburgh, then lost two of three in Chicago, before splitting two in St Louis. They returned home on a Sunday night to begin a homestand against the West Coast teams. On Monday, though, a development happened. Mitch awoke with a feeling of a pull in his ribcage. It alternated from an annoying pull to a spasm that took his breath away. He wasnt sure whether he had pulled it on a swing, a play in right field, or the night before, as Naomi had put her feet against his chest as he was trying to hold her down and tickle her. She didnt kick him in the ribs, but her feet were pressed against his midsection. The Good Guys opened a series with the Giants on Monday night with old number 3 out of the lineup. Although the Good Guys had other power hitters, without Mitch, Sniderman knew he had to use the running game more. Kate Hudson opened the homestand, and allowed only two runs through seven innings, but the Good Guys couldnt hit, and lost 2-1. Charlize Theron pitched on Wednesday night, but the Good Guys didnt fare any better, as Charlize allowed but one run through seven, but the Good Guys got shut out, 1-0. Gil Bellows took the hill on Thursday night with Mitch still out of the lineup, as he was being checked daily by team doctors, due to his rib not feeling any better. Barry Bonds hit a first inning homerun to a chorus of boos, as the Good Guys got swept, by a 3-0 score. By that point, there was fear that if Mitch missed too many more games, they would have to put him on the 15 day DL. On Thursday, when Mitch and Naomi got home, she undressed and tried to arouse him, but he was not responsive:" I need to take a raincheck, okay, my rib hurts, and I dont feel like tickling you or making love, I'm not feeling well" He said. "Okay" Naomi said, with a pouting face.
On Friday, San Diego came to town. Neve Campbell was on the mound, and Mitch was still not playing. Campbell got slammed, as the Good Guys lost 5-0. They had scored but one run in their last four games, and people were getting restless. Melissa Gunther was on the hill on Saturday night, but once again the Good Guys got routed, as Gunther gave up six runs in the first on route to a 6-1 defeat. It was the Good Guys fifth straight loss, and things were going not well indeed. On Sunday when Mitch awoke, he was feeling a bit better, took batting practice, and asked Sniderman to let him play that day with Kate Hudson on the hill for the Good Guys. Lee agreed, and Mitch's return was felt immediately, as he blasted a three run opening inning homer, and Kate pitched into the eighth inning, in a 4-1 win that broke the losing streak at five.

Charlize Theron took the mound, and she was fantastic, engaging in a mound duel with the Dodgers Hideo Nomo, as the Good Guys escaped with a 3-2 victory. Gil Bellows took his next turn on Tuesday. An early Mitch two run homer was all the Good Guys got, but it was enough to outlast the Dodgers, 2-1. Now Paradise wanted badly to win the last game after the rough start to the homestand. Neve Campbell was on the mound on Wednesday in front of a sellout. The Good Guys, however, spotted the Dodgers six runs, and trailed 6-0, and it looked like they had no chance. Then, they chipped away, getting three in the fifth, and blowing it open with an eight run sixth inning to take the lead. The Dodgers tried to come back, but fell short, 11-8, as Mandy blew them away in the ninth. They had finished the homestand under 500, but Mitch's return and four wins in a row after five straight losses was better, considering how they had started the homestand.
In the meantime, the team held it's Saturday night tickle party. The featured lee would be the Good Guys new handsome male trainer, hired to assist the staff that year, and yet to receive his tickle initiation. The female members of the team were in delight as he was tied hands and feet to the bed in the middle of the fetish club. "Most of us women are usually lees, and we get the daylights tickled out of us, but our male counterparts let us have our fantasy tonight, and as a result we get to tickle your gorgeous bod" Naomi said.
