Gasp...Pant...coming up for air.

This is absolutely goddamned unbelievable. I was a bit reluctant to post this info, since I know the whole Gabrielle thing is a bit unpopular around here, but I just had to share this.

I just got their new video and it is absolutely INCREDIBLE. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this one, they had a contest to determine the "most ticklish girl in Southern California"! They must have published it at a local campus and/or in the paper, because they say they interviewed over 100 girls, and took the top 16 most ticklish ones to participate. These girls are mostly cute, with a few real knockouts, and a couple of woofers, but mostly just really college-girl cal-girl CUTE!

Their reactions are obviously unscripted, and this was a public event with an audience and everything. It's a really original concept, and I'm duly impressed. All of them are at least moderately ticklish, with quite a few VERY ticklish. I was a bit surprised at a couple of the finalists, and more surprised by the winner. Wonder if some of them dropped out (some were really, painfully ticklish, and I was surprised they didn't make the semis. It was basically judged and set up somewhat like a beauty contest.

There are pictures of the girls on their site. Some are quite cute. I don't agreee with the winner (several seemed much more ticklish, but she's cute, I suppose). Ah well, can't have everything.

I just watched it today, and this is one long-assed video, almost an hour and a half. IMO, worth the money. For those of you who don't know me, this review is unbiased, since I don't know or have any affiliation with any of the video makers (them or any other company).

I'm going to have this one for a long time. Definately a keeper. Two thumbs up!!

Thanks for the review biscuit...it seemed like the video was mostly foot tickling. Were the girls' bellies bare and being tickled or was it pretty much all feet like most of their videos?

I didn't have a problem with the winners. I think they were all very ticklish. I think actually being there one would be privy to things you can't see on the video. Who knows if girls dropped out or not. How they reacted after the tickle session, somethings they said,their composure, all might have been taken into account by the judges. I think in a contest like this it's going to be hard to gauge reactions when they all are so close. Plus people react different to tickle stimuli. I think all things considered they chose well. I also think all the girls should have got some money just for being in a kick ass contest like that. I also liked Katies worse tickle experience answer(that was cool). This video is for sure a classic keeper.

I was afraid to review this vid because I know our friends Jeff
and Kathy have an ongoing feud with Gabrielle, but I have seen
"The Contest" too, and it is ASTONISHING!!
The description alone was enough to make me run for my credit
card, and it was more than worth it.
After seeing the tape three or four times, I have to say that my
three favorites are Summer, Katie, and Viviana. Yes, I know that
Summer and Katie are the first two tickled, and that may have
biased me a little, but Summer is indeed incredibly beautiful,
while Katie and Viviana are just plain incredibly cute. And oh,
yes, they go nuts when they are tickled, particularly on their
feet!! Their reactions are priceless.
And, of course, there is an intermission scene starring the one
and only LILY, goddess of tickle victims. It involves her in a road-rage sequence, followed by some well-deserved foot tickling. (Maybe I should start to develop road rage!) And she is looking incredible as she reaches her twenties!
All in all, this one is a classic. And I sincerely hope Jeff, Kathy and Gabrielle will find a way to bury the hatchet. Nobody has any reason to be jealous of another video company.

I had jus received this landmark video and must say that my pick for winner would have to be the incredible "Vivianna"!!! Not only one of the cutest, but beyond out the most tIcklish of all!! Although I do love this tape it really brings me down knowing that she didn't even make the final cut. If Paradise ever does a tickle vid with just her, I'll be first in line to buy it. Oh, and my secon choice would have been the redhead, Misty. Hell, as soon as her armpits were touched she actually broke out of her bonds. How's that for ticklish?? "YIKES"!!!

I just finished watching The Contest…..and all I can say is that I feel like my face is going to break from sheer grinning! Just the sheer novelty and audacity of such a video is reason enough to buy it. That it contains as a total bonus one of the greatest Lily scenes (as if there are any bad ones!!!) of all time……more on that later…..all I can say is that it made me feel so well treated! Warm! Like I was just shown some genorosity! Un-ripped off. Like someone just said, “here, this is for you”. (Maybe this isn’t for later, it’s for now.) This Lily scene actually brings out NEW reactions from her (you have to hear it for yourself) as well as new regions of ticklishness on....and this is strictly a foot tickling segment!!! (The regions I’m talking about is all around her ankles and tops and the very edge of the heel-it drives her crazy!) Lily herself looks stunning! Her hair is really long and straight and her face is so pretty……I swear I’m swooning right now as I type this! Simply gorgeous. As great as the actual “Contest” is and the winners are all terrific, it remains that Lily, alongside the polymorphously ticklish Tracy and the exquisitely ticklish Starr, are in fact the actual most ticklish girls in Southern California, and possibly the world!!! They certainly are three of the greatest models ever to appear in a tickling video!!! They are gorgeous, super ticklish and their reactions and laughter are 100% hot all the time. Am I wrong?

One last thing about the Lily segment…..it features one of the funniest “punchlines” to any video segment in any tickling video…..(at least I thought so)….and that of course is another great thing about Paradise Vision tapes….they’re always really, really funny! I won’t give it away, but I laughed out loud.

But what of the Contest itself? It feels like you’re the one that’s on vacation!!! I suggest a tropical drink by your side (or perhaps an herbal jazz ciggarette of “kind bud”, preferably grown on the West Coast!)…though, if sobriety is your thing (and sobriety is a beautiful thing), this video will be plenty fun, believe me!

All of the girls are at least very cute, could be girls in your own hometown or at the place you work….to some really pretty hotties….I’ve seen comments about one particular model who was full sized and though that might not particularly be your physical preference, she is certainly not unattractive (and if it IS your preference, then you will want to get this video as she is definitely ticklish).

Kamiano’s tickling style DURING the actual contest itself is unusually fast and frenetic, rough and savage (as befits a tickling contest). During the Lily segment, however, he displays his typical, impeccable, torturous, deliberate, highly skillful technique…. I would like to see a lot of these girls in the actual contest given THAT kind of treatment in the future!!!!

It’s hard to review the individual girls since there are so many that I can’t remember a lot of them! But I can say that I was really happy to see the girls I liked make it all the way to the end (they were Summer and Arial, and a cute, curly haired (and ticklish!) girl with glasses)!! I thought the winner (I won’t give it away) was deserving enough(her reaction when she is crowned, handed flowers, paid 500 dollars and applauded is hilarious-it’s a mix between the modest poise of beauty queen and a puzzled look of almost utter revulsion and disbelief that this was happening to her!). I have to go back and rewatch the Vivianna segment-I know there was at least one that didn't make it that I thought was great but other than that I was pretty happy.
Interestingly, I thought all of the models (that made it to the semifinals and the finals) reacted best on their second ticklings. They all begged alot more!!! Lots of "Oh, don't!" and "You've got to stop!" amidst hysterical laughter. Music to my ears!

By the way, if blondes are your thing, this video is stocked full of them! I noticed someone pointing out that there was one “ethnic” girl but I don’t remember seeing anything other than blondes and brunettes. Also, another little thing that I loved-early in the video they include a short clip of one of the contestants interview, including when Kamiano first removes her shoes and tickles her feet for the first time. That was fantastic. I LOVE that kind of stuff! Again-they didn’t have to include that! I’d love to see just those clips!!! (I also love that one of the questions that they ask some of the contestants,- that I wish they had asked them all!-was "Describe your worst tickling experience”! So you get some true accounts in there as well!).

Since I just saw it for the first time, it’s hard to give much more than first impressions-all I can say is:

It's really hard to say if this is "the" greatest tickling video of all time. I have seen many great ones which stand on their own merit and are classics in their own right. But I will say that "The Contest"
should at least be in the top ten greatest of all time and is also a breakthrough video for the tickling community. Paradise's approach was done with great originality and good taste. And yes, I do have to agree that seeing th lovely Lily again is always a pleasure to behold.And although we all have a different opinions of who the winner should have been, it's really all irrelevant. The fact remains that this video lived up to it's expectations and will be talked about for a long time to come. And one last note.. "Will this be an annual contest"??? I sure hope so.. :)

what others would be in your Top Ten?

i would include Ticklish Merchandise and Nurse Gone Bad, perhaps..
some of fm concepts scenes would make it in there but i haven't found one of theirs that was really consistently good..

Among my top ten would be the "dungeon" theme vids from RT. Although I have copies of "Dungeon of Happiness" and "Dungeon of Reversal", I'm sure "Dungeon of Sensations", which I have yet to order, would also be included. Being a married guy whose wife is home all the time really cuts in to the time I have to watch these things. Plus there's the problem of where to keep them so they're not discovered. But one of these days, DOS will be mine.

Finding and entire vid from FM to qualify for top ten status would be highly unlikely, but they do strike gold with a scene on occasion. My favorite scene from an FM vid (I can never remember the codes they use to identify their products) is the one in which a naked Julia Parton is sitting in the stocks with her ankles in the holes that are more than shoulder width apart so her legs are spread, and hands tied behind her back. No blidfold and no gag. One of the FM guys then tickles the soles of her feet exclusively for 7 to 10 minutes. I don't know if she's really ticklish or not but IMHO she does a convincing job if she's not. I guess the reason I like this scene so much is that with a little imagination, (well...maybe a lot of imagination)I visualize Julia being tickle-tortured in a dungeon instead of somebody's family room or bedroom as FM seems to like to do. (I guess you can tell I have a yearning for tickling that takes place in a medieval torture chamber scenario--I'm such a perv).

I believe you were correct, tiberius, in identifying Julia Parton as the “real deal” in the tickling genre. In the wider “adult’ world, she’s done it all–Penthouse Pet, High Society “editor”, tons of video (mostly lesbian stuff), stripper, etc. She keeps getting asked back by tickling producers because she has a good body which she is willing to show, the discipline it takes to work on tight time frames without lots of takes and she is, by all accounts, darn ticklish. Plus, in her own words in her latest video, she claims to really like being tickled to the point of torture.

The famous Cal Star Tied & Tickled “Count Tickula” was one of her early efforts way back in the 80s. Her video name was “June Bauer” then and she was the first village wench tickled by the vampire. She was lying on her back on a castle floor with her feet tied in the air. The tickling was lame (it was Cal Star, after all) but her reactions were decent. Whiney Prescott (before her boob job) also made an early appearance in that video.

As June Bauer, she also appeared in some of HOM’s Tied & Tickled magazines. If you like pretty, buxom brunettes with sexy feet (and there’s someone who doesn’t?), her photo sets, while static, were very good. You’ll still see some shots of her floating around the web.

One of her finest efforts was in Harmony’s Tickle Time (TK-4). She went by the name “Rachel Wells” in that one. In Tickle Time, she engaged in the standard back-and-forth tickling duel with a roommate, Sheena Loveland. In the opening scene, Julia/Rachel was stretched out on a couch upside down with her feet tied to the top. As Sheena strips off her athletic shoes and socks, there is some decent pleading going on that sounds pretty genuine, and she explodes into laughter when her feet are touched. Probably one of Harmony’s best efforts, much better than the lightweight stuff they produce today. Rachel proves to be a decent tickler, too and there is one rare torso-tickling scene with Sheena spread on a bed where you actually see a tickle model struggling to the point of frenzy.

The gang at FM Concepts came out of the Harmony orbit and remembered Tickle Time. They hired an older and little broader (but still sexy) Julia Parton (somewhere along the line, somebody decided that she looked enough like Dolly Parton in the chest area to pretend to be her cousin without being laughed at too much) for a tickle video. In Tickle Lessons (FC-81) she was spread-eagled naked with stockings tied to bedposts and team tickled on her feet by Chase Brocco and Niki Nova. This is good stuff. Her trademark move is the tickle explosion–the instant her feet are touched she screams and bounces around on the bed like a banshee. You can tell the reactions are real because she doesn’t look good doing it. People who are acting like to struggle in ways that let them keep looking pretty for the camera. We’ve all seen that–fake pleading with a perfect profile pose. Really ticklish women just want to get loose and don’t give a shit about how they look on camera. They will contort and gyrate in ways that look a little scary–like an epileptic on PCP. That’s pure gold to ticklers, but you don’t see it nearly enough in videos.

(Julia also delivers one of my favorite lines in any tickling video. After one particularly loud burst of screaming laughter, she asks “What must your neighbors think?” I’ve often wondered the same about the FM videos which are clearly just filmed in some apartment in what looks to be a complex. What DO the neighbors think? Oh, and how long is the waiting list to get into the apartment next door?)

The reaction was so good that FM brought her back again in Tickle Celebration (FC-93), the nude stocks scene mentioned by tiberius. It is a minor classic, because all the elements come together. Julia looks fine and very helpless stretched out nude in foot stocks. Chase Brocco is the best tickler FM ever had and he goes after her bare soles with obvious enthusiasm–first right, then left, then both feet for much too short a time. Julia laughs (full, rich laughter that’s full of personality, by the way) and twists and shakes her hair and natural breasts and sweats (near the end of the session, you can see the sheen of sweat on her torso–something you also never see in tickle fakers). You may not find a better seven minutes of foot tickle video in all of FM’s catalog.

She came back for one last hurrah–“Julia and Tara” (ST-6), and it is also worthwhile. She’s clearly near the end of her adult career here and looks like exactly what she is–a great-looking woman who is getting a bit older and wider but still has some star power going on. What’s novel here (for FM) is the interview in which Julia describes her love-hate relationship with tickling. She describes the endorphin rush she gets while struggling madly to get loose and compares it to an athletic sex session (who would know better about that than a porn actress?). There are multiple tickling scenes, some better than others but all pretty genuine. Sadly, Tara is a really lame finger-wiggler rather than a tickler. On the plus side, Julia’s torso gets tickled here along with her feet, and she goes nuts when her armpits get the slightest attention.

There isn’t a tickling hall of fame (at least, not yet–maybe we should put it in that apartment next to the FM sets), but when there is, Julia will deserve a spot there as one of the few porn crossovers to really thrive and provide enjoyment in the small but lovable tickling field.

:) I just got the tape and have to say it is great! Real tickling, from real ladys who are not acting! These guy seen to put out the best foot tickling tapes around! No faking in most of there tapes!!! If you like great ticking this tape is a real buy!!!

I too just finally received this tape and all I can say is its not that good. I will say its average at best. Seems to be a lot of rehearsed faking and most of the girls were not ticklish. Im not happy that I spent $60 on this. I wish I could have seen a preview first.

Viviana was not ticklish. Are you watching the same tape I am? Misty and Ariel hardly moved or twitched when tickled. Watch them again and keep an open mind while watching. Keep in mind that all the girls probably were told that if they win, they get a lot more money. Now, if you were the actual girls, wouldn't you fake your ass off to win the money? I would. Thanks for your "intelligent" responce. I too liked Liz and think she had alot over some of the other girls. Besides, tomboyish or no, this had nothing to do with the best looking girl in Cal., but the most "ticklish" one. And I also agree with you concerning the girl who had won. She was far from my first choice. And Viviana? I'm beginning to think that you may be right about that. Poor girl.. :) She was really something.

...I saw this video, and I noticed the same things you guys were talking about. I think those other girls had to drop out, too. This video should have been titled "Girl in Ca. who can react to being tickled the best". Think about it, the most ticklish ones would not even be there, much less stay there to be tickled over and over again. But it was cute. Some babes, too. (I Loooove Ariel!!) .....(Was porky ticklish? I had to FFWD.) Oh, one more thing,.... if this is an annual event, please get a tickler who isn't so rough with their feet. He looked like he was beating them up. Yes, I have it, and it was pretty good, the dog stayed on target, and Summer was going out of her mind, the scene was great. The whole video, for that matter was pretty good
