I remember a couple of mainstream incidents from way back - the 70s; I don't know whether these have been posted before, but haven't seen them on any mainstream list, so here they are:
1) On the old Candid Camera show, with Allen Funt and JoAnn Pflug, they did a bit featuring a department store mannequin that was used to model pantyhose, so it was just a pair of legs. They replaced the mannequin with a live woman and filmed shoppers' reactions as she moved her legs. I believe one of the shoppers briefly tickled the "mannequin"'s feet. But the best part was in the introduction, where JoAnn had her shoes off and Funt tickled her foot.
2) There was an article in a 70's issue of National Geographic about Koko the "talking" gorilla; in one picture appearing with the article, Koko's female trainer is teaching her to ride a skateboard (at least that's how I remember it). In the caption, the trainer explains that Koko doesn't like the idea and says "...and she's trying to tickle me." I haven't been able to find that picture again, otherwise I would post it here.
