Don't know if anyone knows who this guy was over here..but I must post this. John Whitehead of the Philly R&B Disco Duo McFadden & Whitehead was shot dead yesturday behind his home in Philadelphia while working on a car with a young guy. A few guys came and open fired on them and ran. The young man is in stable condition. Police dont know what exactly the deal was or if he was intended to be shot. This is very sad news to me and just another reason to add to thank god I left Philly and will never return. I hope whoever did this will choke on their own shit and die! Goes to show ya what the world is today unfortunatly. McFadden & Whitehead's most famous track was the 1979 R&B and Club hit "Aint No Stoppin' Us Now".

RIP Bro!

I heard about John Whitehead's shooting on the news last night. We get the Philly news here in Lancaster. How tragic. Apparently, from the reports I heard, Whitehead was just an innocent victim of a stray bullet meant for someone else. Philly is a very violent city, and I dont go there much. I've heard his famous song that he did witb Mcfadden. It is horrible how such a great talent is cut down at such an early age. A symbol of our violent world.
