Inspired by the recent attempt to arrange a BAT for Big Apple Ticklephiles, I wonder if we may be successful in initializing a NJ based group.

I propose the name Jersey Exploratory Society for Tickling, or JEST. Members can be referred to as JESTERS.

I see more and more folks on the Board with a NJ connection. If we can be the gateway to NY and Philadelphia (via the turnpike), we should also be a stopping ground for sophisticated ticklers and ticklees.

Now if this sounds interesting and feasable, I will say thank you, and take my place to the side as a co-founder. Having invested the mental capital and acuity, I would turn to others for implementation.

So think about i

Surely i JEST.

Baron, that is very clever! I like! Your a very funny person without the tickling involved.

That being said good luck and if its not that far down in Jersey maybe a couple of CT'ers might be willing to travel!

And I love the pic under your sig

Being one of many members with a Jersey connection (30 years), I second that! That is great!!!

That is not in JEST I might add.

Excellent Name and Idea. Having been a Jersey resident for most of my life......now in NY state, I would definitely have thrown my feather into the ring and even helped you out as much as I could but alas I am a New Yorker.......always have been really at heart since I was born in NY and really lived only minutes away from the big City for a very long time. Had a view of Manhattan right outside my home where I used to live before I moved down the shore area and now back to being a NY resident I can only wish you all the luck in the world with your venture.

TTD;) :D

why thank you so much for the good wishes.

i am still waiting for an organizer to step up to the plate. i claim too much normalcy and overtime at the office to be effective.

we need a crazy, time-enabled individual to step up to the plate.

isn't kirstin dunst from NJ?

I'm recalling another event from that approximate area (upper East Coast) that was called JESTER. It's gone, now, so it ain't like the name ain't available, but it's trivia to know.

Jacqui ran that one, with Purvis assisting, if memory serves. They're both underground, probably readin' this (Hi to ya both!) and had a good event. As with many of us, their lives took them elsewhere. Nothin' wrong wit' THAT, either.

Good luck with your event, yer highness. Drop a line if ya want an assist or some info. I'd be happy to connect you with others in your locale. Always easier when you've got someone who's got your back, when running such stuff. Takes the fear factor out of the equation!
