So there I am at this birthday party for one of my daughter's friends. I had to go myself as the wife had previous plans. I figured I wouldn't know anyone well enough to pass several hours and the local version of Chuck E Cheese so I take some wokr with with and plan on staying out of the way.
If you've never been to one of the places they have these huge jungle gyms and air-filled places to play for the kids. Sometimes the adult go in with the younger kids. Everyone who uses the play area must wear socks. The parents who were not in the play area had mostly just sandals/flip-flops on. I would estimate the ratio of women to men was 20 to 1, with about 90% of the women virtually in bare feet.
Well at least I would get to do some gazing to the pass the time!
As it turns out there was a young couple there who my wife and I had met in the past and they invited me to sit and talk while the party was going on. He is about 10 years younger than me and she is nearly 8 years younger than me, but our children are in class together.
As we sat at the table he was to my right and she was in front of me with an empty chair to my left. I turned my chair around slightly to keep an eye on my daughter and still be able to have a conversation, so I was more or less facing the unoccupied chair to my left. A few mintues after sitting down the young lady removes her sandal and puts her bare foot on the open chair! I couldn't help but still a glance. Her foot was long, but not to narrow. Nice long toes (all the nails painted a bright red) and an even tan.
Naturally I tried to continue having a regular conversation but stole the occasional glance to this pretty young foot directly in front of me. During a lull the guy asked her how her leg felt. Turns out she had a problem with her leg and needed to keep it elevated (in fact she was not even to be there). She said she felt OK but couldn't really feel her leg (if that's not an excuse to tickle someones foot I don't know what is!) and she could wiggle her toes now though...and she did!
After a bit the guy went to buy a drink and I was left alone with the incredibly tempting situation. But I was a good boy. In fact I never even broached the subject of her ticklishness...sigh.
So I spent the better part of two hours with a perfect foot withing reach and could do absolutely nothing about it. If there is such a thing as hell on earth this was it for me!
