A Sincere Apology

Members of the TMF, notably ones in this Forum, I owe a big apology. I have never posted threads here, went and saw a movie, posted a review in the General Discussion section and it was moved here to this Forum (quite rightly). Once I started to replying to posts in this Forum, I had no idea there were specific rules and guidelines for posting in this part of the Forum, so please accept my deepest apologies personally to Drew70, Venray, and anybody else I might have offended in my zeal.

By the way, I think backing up what you say with links to actual published information is brilliant, and though I plan to stay out of this area for a while as I see I've upset the apple cart, if I ever do come back I plan to follow the rules strictly and to the letter.

Thanks Venray for emailing me and setting me straight about the rules, I trust you won't have to do it ever again. If you were all here, I'd let you tickle my pretty, liberal girlfriend for as long as you want! (now there's a topic for discussion!)

We want everyone to participate in discussion here. Perhaps we can all learn a few things....

I've been warned more than once as well! So rather than start a whole new apology thread, I would like to apolgize as well in your thread. I think the Politics and Relgion Forum is a resounding success! Everyone seems very passionate about these topics but it's great that we can discuss them without attacking others' characters in here. We all have many friends from different political persuasions. I believe attacking someone's intelligence it out of line. I also think there are those who arrogantly try to act as if they are more intelligent than others in here strictly based upon political and religious beliefs and that's even more wrong. Although I don't agree with your politics, I respect yours or anyone else's opinion in here and hopefully I get the same treatment from those who disagree. I for one never felt offended by your comments and I hope you continue to post in here....it wouldn't be the same without you.
