But Bush has flip flopped too.
He strongly opposed a department of homeland security and then bragged when it was created.
He opposed the 9-11 commision and then announced its creation.
He was against using our troops for "nation building" (his words) as a candidate and now we are doing just that.
Any politician who has kept the exact same stance on all issues for 30 years is a dolt in my mind. You have to grow and change views on some issues as you mature and live. Bush just hasn't been in the political arena long enough to have all his old quotes brough back against him.
