Well guys! It's been fun! Big Jim, Cosmo, and all the others...it's been a pleasure sparring with you folks! I'm no longer posting in this forum, however you might find me posting from time to time in the tickling discussion, art, links, and photos sections. You guys keep the torch burning! Buggs, keep 'em in line pal! I'm out! Byyyyeeee!

Damn! Another one bites the dust. To quote Roy Scheider in Jaws 2 "I'm all alone out here!"

if this is because of possible "bad blood" between posters; other posters; and Mods - well then, thats just lousy!

i hate to loose a strong, educated and articulate conservative voice.

you take care Jim.

No, it's not bad blood. It's bad feeling. Might sound similar, but there are differences.

It is a matter of following the rules and nothing more. It was ultimately Jim's decision....

It's not bad blood or a bad feeling....I'm just not understanding the interpretation of the rules. I have been warned not to address other posters personally yet others are allowed to address me personally. I love reading Big Jim's dissertations because he does try to do some fact finding. However, I feel there are better ways than cutting and pasting my points and directly debating them which to me is pretty much speaking to me directly. There are many ways around that. Can you imagine if ALL of us were to cut and paste EVERYTHING we didn't agree with in there? Hell, nobody would read it because of the monotiny! Apparently, it's okay because that is his 'style'. Style should not have anything to do with it. I can see cutting and pasting here and there, but every single post is taken practically sentence by sentence? Exactly how does that add to the thread? Big Jim, nothing against you personally and again, there are times I do agree with you believe it or not, and I apologize for using you for an example. In fact, I want to go on record as saying that Jim has YET to offend me and that his posts are excellent. I really do agree with him more than I let on. I think the moderators should consider that as something we should not do (cutting and pasting).

I would love to address the others directly but have been called down for it. I've been told that making comments about another person's country is like attacking them and not to do it. I agree with that, but I see others attacking America both directly and indirectly and are allowed to get away with it. Help me out if I'm wrong here, but I will stay within rules as long as there's an even playing field and everyone is treated the same way. Although I was being sarcastic, I even took a liberal stance without breaking any rules, and was called on that. I've read the rules, they are not vague, and when I see that everyone abides by them and only then will I continue posting in here. What about the foul language we see in here? I can out cuss anyone, but we should leave that out of the forum as well. Ray has a tough job and certainly I wouldn't want it. After all, let's put this into prospective, this IS merely a tickling forum. But even in a tickling forum, people's passions run high when it comes to politics and religion. I find that there are intelligent people with our fetish who have strong political beliefs on both sides. I like debating in that forum. Quite frankly, I love both Canada and England and have been to both many many times. My stance is that if you're going to attack America verbally, take a look at your own country. When I read a person say that Bush has an I.Q. of 3 and they try to say that's fact? Sorry, that offends me not so much that the person said it, but that he wasn't warned. I wrote a dissertation after a Canadian couldn't think of reasons to thank the U.S. That wasn't designed to bash Canada, it was designed to make that person think. It will be interesting to see how people respond to this. Those who agree with me, I would love to hear it. Those who disagree, try to do so without an all out attack. We agree on the limits and rules, let's stick by them. Everyone agrees to the same thing, I'll post again.

This comment:

"When I read a person say that Bush has an I.Q. of 3 and they try to say that's fact? Sorry, that offends me not so much that the person said it, but that he wasn't warned."

We don't publicly post who is warned/chatted with/suspended/etc.. You obviously would have no knowledge of this so it seems a bit absurd to utilize it as an argument. These "warnings" are normally the result of a reported post and are not done unilaterally but rather after a discussion has taken place on the topic/post and a consensus is reached regarding action to be taken.

Copy/paste is an ongoing discussion that has not reached consensus....yet.

It's great to see this particular poster is allowed to post again in the forum! The venom is still there which possibly stems from an inferiority complex, but who knows what demons lurk in that mind. I appreciate his agreeing with my thoughts pertaining to cutting and pasting. LOL....unbelievable he would post that comment, but then again, certainly doesn't surprise me. Now THAT was worth cutting and pasting!
